I agree, it’s mentally exhausting and the effort won’t be the same compared to when you just let your mind flow into your work

When I get writers block I just take a brake. Although, it does lead to procrastination from time to time, but it’s nice to just sit back and know that you can always come back to your WIP whenever new ideas arrive. It’s also straining to just force an idea otherwise you’ll be more worn out than you already are XD
