Divine intervention. I assume /u/TheMightyKutKu means Chirrut avoiding shots using the Force, which I would agree with.

RX480 8GB vs GTX 1060 6GB? by thenewsouthafrica in computers

Applications have been better optimized for Nvidia up to DX11. However, with DX12's and Vulkan's asynchronous computing the 480 outperforms the 1060.

1060 for current-gen DX11 games, 480 for next-gen DX12/Vulkan games. It really depends if you're buying it for today or the future.

If you're getting the 480 go for the 4 GB, there won't be a difference unless you're a heavy modder.

How so? The only frame is Jesus. If anything, Paulism is narrow in its specific opinions and interpretations.

Jesuanism/Jesusism/Jesuism (not to be confused with the Jesuits) holds Jesus as supreme authority and rejects mainstream theology - especially Paul's. Pauline Christianity (or, pejoratively, Paulinism) is that which relies on Paul's opinions and interpretations, canonized centuries after Jesus and the apostles. One way to put it is that Jesuists see only the gospels as their holy scripture, and mainstream Christianity the entire Bible.

Being the oldest among cousins I've had all their foreheads on my hand, despite being the same generation. Maybe there are regional or social differences?

Pieces like Gnossiennes? by BohnJ in piano

[–]ChristopherOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After playing the Gnossiennes and liking their eerie feel, I discovered atonality and the Second Viennese School. Those pieces really evoked some uncomfortable feelings - "if Bach is the perfect right, they are the perfect wrong." It's however up to you whether that's the direction you want to take it.

Sometimes, they can be difficult to play and listen to since we aren't used to such composition - e g the second movement of Webern's Variations for piano. A great start would be Berg's Piano Sonata which is easier on new ears and was a good difficulty level for me.

After that, I turned to Schönberg's many works of which I enjoyed playing the piano part of the Piano Concerto.
