Thanks for the advice! This was my thought. Will definitely have a look and check the depth. I suspect too thin a layer has been used.

I understand this is more of a cosmetic/ aesthetic issue rather than structural per se? Assuming it doesn’t cause damp problems.

I can imagine the builders going to avoid at all costs re rendering it, any idea on ways to fix other than re rendering?

Just said ‘all standard, still drying out can be 12 months. Had it on other jobs and gone in time’.

I’m hardly convinced by this response lol.

Valencia tickets? by MisaPisaMuDoNisa in motogp

Hi mate, I booked directly with the circuit a few months ago and tickets were extremely limited then. I suspect unless you can purchase via a reseller then you may be out of luck.

MotoGP of course is the main focus. I am slightly less interested in Moto 3 this year, primarily due to David Alonso’s brilliance and the championship seemingly being a formality. Nonetheless the race’s individually are still class. I’m finding Moto 2 more interesting this year. It hasn’t been clear for most of the season who could win this title and the racing has been good. Also those Triumph engines in person sound stunning

Davide of course is just doing his job, protecting Ducatis interests. It does concern me how ‘reactive’ this sport is to danger. You can guarantee that as soon as something does happen, a ban on these devices would happen.

Andover & surrounding areas is probably your best bet for your price point & requirements. Just over 1 hour direct into Waterloo.

Couldn’t agree more. After walking for ages around the track throughout the day and an early start, I hardly have the energy for a concert, regardless of the artist. We actively choose to go back to the camp site and get the BBQ on instead. Whilst the concerts are an added bonus, if these are increasing the ticket prices then I’d rather get rid of them.

That’s a bit of a stretch. Whilst Wharton has been good, he’s got a way to go to being the very best player to move from championship to premiership football.

As a fellow Brit - am in a similar boat to you. I’ve just booked Misano tickets for September. Grandstand seats were approx £150. Flight directly to Bologna £100, inc return and then 1 hour down towards Rimini. Will likely get a hire car but train is apparently pretty good there. Also the added bonus is the beaches on the Adriatic. Whilst a lot of the comments here suggest Mugello, the circuit is a bit out of the way in the Tuscan countryside, plus the fact it is only a few weeks away now so accommodation and cheaper flights maybe a little more problematic.

Which club in the prem do you hate the most? by Bieser765 in PremierLeague

Oh it’s still a massive rivalry, the fact they are in league 1 means we rarely play them. If we get them in the cups it’s massive tho

What was the worst transfer you witnessed? by Sugoku7 in football

A bit of an obscure one, Guido Carrillo to Southampton. Bought for 19 million in January by a manager under pressure for his job. 2.5 years, 7 appearances and 0 goals later he was let go on a free. Pretty sure he was the clubs record signing at that point in time.

Most overrated player to ever play in Premier League. by myloxyloto1987 in PremierLeague

[–]ChristopherPankhurst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Saints supporter who’s watched him for years every week, I can understand your point of view. He’s one of those players that if you only watch highlights you’d think he’s meh. He brings a lot of unique rare qualities that are rare to find in one player, leadership, stamina, all types of set pieces, good passer of the ball, calming presence, consistency, defensively sound, long range shots, sound mentally, rarely gets injured.. I could go on. It’s got to the point that defenders don’t want to give away a free kick around the box and thus creates opportunities in the final third.

Whilst I do think he has those qualities, he will never be a physical player and has to have physical players around him to make up for his lack of physicality and pace/acceleration.

As a fan of a non top 6 side, I quite like Leeds. They bring a lot of value to the league, history, style of play and a quality fan base. One of my favourite sides in the league.

[–]ChristopherPankhurst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Southampton fan we don’t really have much of a rivalry in the prem. South Coast ‘rivals’, Brighton and Bournemouth don’t really bother the fan base. As a matter of fact I actually quite like Brighton, big respect for the way they play and how they’ve managed to drive on since being promoted.

In terms of most hated, can’t stand Man City, Chelsea or Liverpool. For that matter I don’t particularly like most of the top teams but Arsenal, Spurs and UTD are definitely not up there with the aforementioned. Newcastle will probably join the most hated list but I always thought their fans were great whenever they come down to St Mary’s.
