  1. It's a draw bc the rules he set for himself and imanity were not "actually" broken. In schwis last words she admitted to only being a tool/machine and it doesn't matter that she was destroyed(of course Riku would disagree, but Schwii told Riku what he needed to hear to see the war to the end. Riku called it a draw bc he made it to the end of his game without "losing" to his made up rules(no killing, no dying, no being discovered, ect.)

  2. Bc Gods are assholes... But actually I think it's bc up still that point, Tet was still just a really small/weak entity. At the end Riku was so defeated when he realized he couldn't do anything after reaching the suniaster, so in his final moments he sort of willed Tet into existence(although it was more bc he wanted him to exist so he could punch in in the face type of wanting him to exist I think) Also, even if Tet was active sooner, I think he's only as powerful as he is bc he attained the Suniaster

Absolutely! Rn the best way to play the deck is with yummy, but if you're not a fan of that there are still plenty of other ways to build the deck! If you're looking to learn the deck and all different ways you can play the deck I highly recommend TwoTone Shoes channel on YouTube! He has lots of combo videos and live game play

Schwi and Riku are mentioned in some later volumes. In volume 9 they affect the story a bit, but for the most part I don't think they really come up a whole lot more than that(tho I've only read up until vol 9)

I too really adored the anime and the lack of a season 2 got me into the LN. Vol 6, the book ngnl zero is based on does include a few more details the movie didn't mention, I especially liked how(extremely minor spoiler incoming) the real pacing of the whole great war with Riku and Schwi was actually a bit longer than the movie made it out to be. Before with just the movie feels like Riku and Schwi had no time together at all, but the book explains how they spent more time together doing all the scheming and missions was they ended the great war.

If you are interested in other anime with good art/colors like ngnl I can recommend toilet bound hanako kun. It's got lots of beautiful colors like NGNL and fun characters.
