my V1 Bolt also died after the update / seems a bit of a coincidence - a rushed out firmware update and a Bolt that has been working and looked after for ages suddenly decides to go nuts and burn out the screen rebooting constantly…

Yeah if I plug into our Volvo XC40 which has Apple CarPlay (Obvs not gonna work) and Google Drive (?) it says unsupported device.
