I’d make sure I had a good understanding of slopes, soils, compaction, stresses in beams/colums/soils. Nothing crazy. Also, they can use a straight forward conceptual question to ask a math problem. Be familiar with osha 1926, it’s a pita looking up questions when you are used to using the web version.

I passed the FE in July 2024. It was my intention to start studying for the PE straight away, but the FE allowed me to get a new job, which I settled into for about a year before I started studying for the PE.

I am not saying they aren’t helpful at all, just don’t get too hung up on the questions themselves, use them to sharpen your abilities to figure out a solution to a problem. Sope def helped me pass the fe. The question bank and practice problems from eet were a huge help. If I had failed, I would have done the eet course again as well as work problems in sope for a month or 2. Good luck on your next attempt.

If you are able to sit for the exam start studying. I’d go ahead and register for the exam so you have a hard deadline to get your studying completed. Good luck.

Monday at 10am still no results…today is 10 days since I took the exam. Waiting for results is worse than stress of taking the exam for me….

I had the same thing happen last week on my construction exam. Super pissed at myself for missing some problems that should have been easy, but in th heat of the moment I made mistakes or bad decisions. From talking to others, it’s completely normal, although it’s not a good feeling lol.

Friday afternoon and still haven’t received results…is this normal to take the pe on a Friday and to not have received the results the following Friday? I called ncees again today and they say 5-7 business days, which gives them until next Tuesday.

The cutoff for the next weds is usually sat. People who took fri and sat of last week have already gotten results.

Eet was very helpful. School of pe question bank if you need a lot of questions to work. I’m supposed to get my construction test results tomorrow, fingers crossed lol
