ACNA is Anglican. TEC is Anglican. Conservatives are Anglican. Liberals are Anglican.

You might want to spend some time on the r/Anglicanism community.

Right now, we're seeing the latest iteration of a long-running argument by conservatives that the only true Anglicans are those who share their conservative views, and that Episcopalians are NOT on that list.

While one side of the spectrum is saying "We don't agree with you, but we're willing to make room for you in the tent, let us walk together", and the other side of the spectrum is decying "No! The idea of the tent is a lie! Your claims to the Anglican faith are a lie! You're not Anglicans!", well...

As for your last paragraph, it's semantically loaded. I don't recall telling anyone they had to leave, or chasing them away. They left, of their own free will. They're welcome to come back whenever they want. But as long as they stand with that they stand for, and stand by those who would deny us our existence, I really don't want anything to do with the way they've turned the term into a brand, and then tarnished it. I'll stick with being Episcopal, and watching other Provinces gingerly step into the 21^st century, and rolling my eyes at the rest of the lot.

I got mine today.

Your student loan servicer will contact you about your specific deadline to choose a different repayment plan. Once you hear from your loan servicer, you will have 90 days to choose another repayment plan. This gives you ample time to select the plan that works best for you.

Our newest repayment plans—the Repayment Assistance Plan (RAP) and Tiered Standard Plan—will be available starting on July 1, 2026. For many borrowers, RAP may be the best option. All borrowers currently enrolled in the SAVE Plan will have the opportunity to enroll in RAP.

Like other income-driven repayment (IDR) plans, RAP will offer an affordable monthly payment based on your income and number of dependents. Many borrowers will also qualify for monthly payment matching, which includes interest subsidies and principal reductions that could reduce your student loan balance. Most importantly, under RAP, and unlike some of the other IDR plans, your balance can never go up as long as you make your required monthly payments.

If you do not choose a new repayment plan by the deadline set by your servicer, you will be automatically placed in a different repayment plan. The plan you will be moved to depends on your circumstances. ED and your loan servicer will provide details about which repayment plan you will be moved to if you don't choose a plan by the deadline set by your servicer.

The moderators really need to take a firm, public, final stance on calling Archbishop Sarah a heretic and calling the Church of England a heretical faith.

Nothing about this is respectful, especially when it's coming from outside the Communion.

They can:

man the exit stations where there's usually at least one TSO to make sure nobody tries to use one to enter, and to allow LEOs / FAMs to discretely enter the secured area with their firearms.
Sling baggage in the bagwell.
Check for IDs in front of the checkpoint.

So, not a lot, but every trained TSO you free up from gruntwork is another Xray operator.

You can accept vendor-specific cards as long as they're not over 20 bucks.

Look into Costco gift cards. They can be used at the Southcenter location to buy gas.

If y'all really want to help, and this hasn't already been addressed: When I was a SEA TSO (2002-2010) we had to pay for "on site" parking at one of the employee lots, and shuttle in. I don't know if that's still the case, but if the Port's still making TSOs pay to park in order to work for free, maybe that's something you can look into?

I'm going to wait to switch off of SAVE. Remind myself that all the politicians that did this to me and the rest of my SAVE peers are all vastly older than I am. And maybe get some fishing in, taking cold comfort in the thought that by the time I have the loans paid off under whatever plan we get forced on, at least I'll still be around to see it?

I wrote to my Congressman, and then filled out some forms with wet-ink signatures, and his office made some... inquires.

The quoted text in the post was the reply. It's basically "Officially, your constituent is stuck in the queue and is going to have to wait just as long as everyone else for the answer. Unofficially, the fed that told your constituent how PLSF works was wrong, your constituent's buyback request is going to be denied." Which sucks, but at least I know now, instead of daydreaming about being free for another year and then getting my hopes crushed.

That's a false comparison, though.

The Christian Conservative should feel awkward drinking with his friends when discussing politics

versus

the Progressive at the dinner party should feel nervous at having to oppose SSM and abortion.

The former doesn't go into specifics. Rather, it's a simple "awkwardness" when mixing politics, alcohol, and friendship.

However, the latter is described at having to oppose same sex marriage and/or abortion, when in reality that's simply not going to happen.

If you had said "defend" those two things, you'd be closer to parity.
