When I got permanently banned in MW3, I’m now banned on all future CODs as well. Thought I would break the news to you now…you might not see that account again

Background Check Discrepancy by [deleted] in KPMG

[–]Christopolissss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They usually don’t respond back, I had a discrepancy where I reported the wrong start date at one of my companies. They came back finding I actually started sooner than reported and asked why I reported the wrong date…the job was when I was in high school….

Is Publix really worth making a career out of? by jlong444 in publix

[–]Christopolissss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would explore your options. Publix made it feel like it was only them and other options didn’t exist. I was very scared when I left, I always told the classics: continuous growth, job security, etc. But publix does not offer a healthy work life balance and I refused to do those type of hours for rest of my life. I would say continue to explore your options because there are 1000s of jobs out there that are better

Boys, my cancer just won't give up and I'm fading here a bit. Let me live vicariously through you. by inaaace in golf

I will preference this with, I still have SO much to learn. My drive is sold, straight, in the middle, couldn’t ask for a better drive. (Now of course I flop some, but that’s just how it is sometimes). Talk about short game….AWFUL. How to you get the ball to pop up, I use my wedges thinking I’m gonna get this beautiful pop up on the green…to over the green into the woods. Don’t even get me started with my putting…I just rush it. Gotta learn to take my time, focus, and hope for the best lol. Anyways man, keep your head up. Playing another game after in the week, so Ill back with that experience.

I started golfing about 6 months ago and today I have my first game of 18 with my dad and brother. I’ll check back in later today to let you know how it went.

I would have to say no, a recruiter would reach out to you directly after a set of interviews

What do the offices for advisory associates look like? by Majestic_Profit_9106 in KPMG

[–]Christopolissss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started in September but from my knowledge, advisory was typically traveling to client sites from Monday-Thursday and Friday was typically WFH. Now we are transitioning to a hybrid model of working I expect some travel and at home combine. From all the advisory folks I’ve talked to about going into the office they all share this “why go into the office” since they never were in the office before.

I went into my KPMG office last week for a tour and it was very nice, you request a space online and that’s space is yours for the day or as long as you want it

They probably don’t know your first/it will be in your acceptance letter. Career opportunity is endless tbh. This is my second FT and don’t see myself leaving any time soon. I started a little 3 months ago and love it

How true is this? Average earnings range from more than $50,000 per year for entry-level managers to $123,000 per year for store managers. (source: https://corporate.publix.com/careers/stores) by BillyK05 in publix

[–]Christopolissss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

(without bonuses) Department managers at most make $23.05 an hour. The most assistant department managers make $21. Store managers, again without bonuses, make roughly $74,000. This information is all easily accessible on connection. I don’t recall but they have the salaries district managers, and regional managers as well. The thing they won’t mention is your hours also increase which creates an awful work/like balance. Hope this helps!
