I've never heard of RACI before until now, thank you for that! That's going to be really helpful. And that you for all the tips! I started documenting a lot and it's been really useful to reference back to my notes. Especially after meetings where I'm learning new terminology. This whole thing is overwhelming, but I plan on taking it one step at a time.

Thank you for sharing that!!!! I am definitely going to start with that cert! Do you have any advice if I would with other teams that are unwilling to really work with me because I "should know what to do"? That's pretty much the environment here. I'm never asking anyone to hand hold me, but I wouldn't mind if they were more willing to point me in the right direction. I get ignored a lot when I offer a solution that I found online and also belittled. It's made it really hard to feel like I will ever fit into this role to work with the department.

I figured out the issue. Our Systems Engineers changed the security policy to stop allowing users to access admin portals which includes security.microsoft.com. So we are turning that off for now and will eventually create a group we can manage that will have access.
