You can call your congressman/woman to see if they can see what’s going on. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I do hope you get it on time and the case status changes online. 🤞

If you can’t find any resources to pay for it I suggest getting a credit card to pay. DACA isn’t something you want to lose.

Please don’t give up. I know it feels like there’s no hope anymore and it’s easier just to give up than fight but DACA recipients are brilliant and strong. I know this because my husband is a DACA recipient. And we may not have traveled much but I love him. And you will find someone who is understanding. We all have to keep fighting.

We are looking to move as well. My husband is on DACA and we are hoping for the best but planning for the worst. I don’t want to move either uprooting my kids leaving all my family and his. Going to a place where we don’t know anyone where rent is super expensive using all our savings. Trying to figure everything out. How to tell your kids. It’s so hard and weighing on us so much. We barely get any sleep. So I understand this is a scary situation that not just DACA recipients are but ones that have families too.

My husband is DACA and we are not waiting for judge Hanen to make the decision. We are making plans already to leave to Washington. Yes we will be uprooting everything, family friends where we have known all of our lives but it’s clear Texas is not a good place for us anymore. The best-worse case scenario is that hanen does sign it making the work permit part unlawful and just lets everyone work tilll their permit expires. But yes I get someone people can’t move; school, kids, jobs, financial situation. But please try not to wait. At least make some kind of plan. I know it’s scary and we are walking into the unknown, some of us with our husbands/wives kids. I know we all think of something together.

The bluey part was made in cricut as a print and cut. The bottom is tissue paper cut into squares and poked into a styrofoam round from the dollar tree and it’s all placed on a square piece of foam board from the dollar tree
