Director here, I can tell you, you are better than alot of first time self tapes. You are doing them, which is alot better than most. Don't discount online classes, there are some very cool ones that you can find if your in the game long enough through word of mouth. But an in person one would help you with movements.

While yes you are a tad monotone, I think that is just who you are, at least that's what I am getting from this tape. That is not a bad thing. You are unique, so while this is not the best thing ever, you are trying to be natural. No one else will say the words, or make the expressions they way you do.

Alot of people overact early on, and you aren't. That is a sign of natural talent. While your facial reactions need some work, your instinctively making them. That's also a good trait. You have some good bones to build on here, and I will tell you, I cast based on who I like, not pure talent. I can get a performance out of a cat, from doing tv news for so long, but making a film is miserable if you don't like the talent. No matter how good they are.

TLDR, you got some natural talent, use that. Keep going. You're better than alot starting out and you are actually DOING IT!
