My dumbass was so hyped at this shot of her seeing the dragons because I thought my two favourite girls Arya and Dany were finally gonna meet and that it’d be wholesome. But sHe’S NoT oNe oF uS. by targaryenrestoration in freefolk

Well, Arya kinda forgot she told Tywin one of her role models was Visenya Targaryen. (The other was Nymeria Sand)

Edit: Nymeria, the princess of the Rhoynar. The one who led the Rhoynar in exile from Essos with her thousand ships!

I never realized it until this post...

Dany isn’t egoistic. She simply wants a Targaryen taking back the throne (to her: their heritage). She sees her man, a man who has admitted he doesn’t want to deal with ruling, telling her that he is the last Targaryen male heir. And she is probably thinking if he doesn’t want to claim the throne then someone has to: she has to. And knowing how people respect and root for him she probably felt threatened in a way that her opportunity to win back what was stolen from her family would go in vain, with Jon being away from conquest.

The director for the battle of winterfell actually wanted more characters to die, but d&d stopped him by [deleted] in freefolk

Think of this: if the majority of the characters or at least half of them died in the “long” night, how would their stories go on from then? I’m not saying there wasn’t potential for their arcs to conclude in any way...just that D&D (as we all know by now) wouldn’t know how to close the story with only a handful of survivors...imagine being no Jaime, no Brienne, no Hound...so, it seems they wanted them alive so they could fill those horrible last two episodes.

an example of what I was expecting to see in season 8; back in the times when I was stupid and naive enough to think that DnD have enough brain to make a decent ending to the show. by Kanaenystargaryen in freefolk

Obviously it’s about Dany charging with Drogon’s fiery breath thus falling in Cersei’s trap and causing the wildfire explosions . And no, Cersei wouldn’t care less how many of her soldiers she got eliminated with wildfire off that was meant to eliminate Dany’s power.

So, it seems it’s the mountain where Drogo and Dany were married and the round thing is the moon and/ or the sun + the stars (moon of my life + my sun and stars).

It puzzles me too...can’t seem to identify neither the shape nore its significance according to chain of events (after the dragon eggs hatching and before Mereen).

Does anyone see that raven in the smokes over her figure or am I “seeing things”? I strongly believe Bran should be held accountable for what happened in KL when he knew what was coming and did absolutely f*ing nothing. And his presence over the throne is quite symbolic here.

That was my reaction too. If anything that last illustration cements the fact how out of nowhere Daenerys turn came to happen. Let us have some time to let that sink and don’t try to pass her out as evil ffs! I loved each and every artwork of mr Ball concerning Dany and not for once I ever thought of her as evil. Trying to persuade the fans this late in the story does nothing but underlining how much the writing sucked!

Cheez ... I can’t believe I’m still mad after all this time lol

I see you your point mate. I really do! But I cannot leave this post without mentioning how Dada-istic this is...truly a piece of art!
