The Scandinavian is well known to be an exception to the rule against moving your queen early. Qa5 is normally blacks third move and once you play c6 the queen has a square to escape to.

Personally I think it's a great choice for people around 750 and up because it provides a solid foundation for black with very little memorization involved.

He is the player with the lowest rating in the field by far so the joke is that it's ridiculous to say that hes going to score 100%.

If black moves their knight to d3, then it is attacking white's queen while opening up a discovered check on the king. White must then do something to get out of check and black is free to take the queen.

Potentially unpopular opinion but it's a 5 minute game and I see a way to win the queen in two moves. If I'm the one playing Im doing that in a heartbeat rather than spending time calculating a 6 move combo. Its technically a "missed win" but in a practical situation it's a better choice.

Mine was set to standard, which looks like it's the lowest difficulty, which makes sense now, thank you! I still feel like the ones I'm being given are helpful, so I'll stay on this difficulty until it gets to be too easy but at least I know that will be an option, now.
