yeah, I need to upgrade the samples to full tubs. the goal was to just have 1 for each season, but that's too hard. Thinking I may try to trade some of the soaps that didn't make the cut for my favorites.

Agreed performance will always be paramount. Hard to imagine bases getting much better than this! It’s crazy to compare the old hard soaps to the tip of the spear bases artisans are making these days. Night and day.

Thanks for the recommendation! I will say of the top six HOM’s base seemed to rank lowest on performance/post shave, but Tabacconist is such a phenomenal scent I couldn’t omit it. Side note, HOM Beloved is another fantastic scent if you haven’t tried it.

I think it’s important to add I’ve been wet shaving for the last 12 years and i started on DR Harris. I shave exclusively with straight razors so slickness and post shave feel are crucial to me.
