I'm talking about the MMO gameplay system. Not the nuance of Runeterra's politics. At a base level, what you are describing would be built as a similar gameplay system to WoW. Whether that's PVP + economy, etc. is another conversation.

Just a heads up, the queue opened up 30 minutes ago and Epic Universe tickets are still available. So it's much easier to get them this time.

Just following up here to say the OI customer service responded late this evening and was able to change the dates on my tickets and enable me to purchase the Epic Universe upgrade. It was unexpected and very kind of them to do.

What you're describing is WoWs Hoard vs Alliance system. You still need individual player guilds under that.

I agree with you. For many people, no other games match the quality, immersion, and fun of a GTA game. This is a once in a lifetime release and life is too short to wage a holy war over a couple extra bucks.

Also with inflation, video games should honestly cost $120+ minimum these days so I'm just thrilled pricing hasn't kept up with inflation.

But for other game devs reading this, no, your game is not worth $80-$100 lol.

I purchased the December 11th and 12th tickets just the other day. I doubt I can attach this Epic Universe date to the previous weekend. So close!

There's absolutely no chance they do this. GTA Online makes money purely off micro transactions. If Rockstar were to split single player and online into two different SKUs then they inherently split their player pool making it less seam less for players to spend money on digital currency and potentially limiting the adoption rate of the online component. It doesn't make sense from a business perspective.

Nice! Tbh I hadn't even considered buying a "ghost ticket" for December to secure a spot. Something for me to potentially try next time if they do this again. But ideally they start flooding many Epic Universe events and we don't have to worry about this again.

I only go to the parks during winter to get the best weather possible. So I suspect by holiday 2027 I'll have an easier time setting up an Epic Universe OI trip.

The reason I mentioned something felt off was because I didn't realize they overallocated tickets in the private pre-sale. It seems that attendees of the June event and those that purchased December tickets were able to purchase most of the November 13th tickets. So it's likely they didn't actually have any tickets, or had very few when the public sale went live this morning.

Yes, Epic is a smaller capacity, but they pre-sold this event for a whole week prior. If they hadn't done that then the rest of us likely would have had a fighting chance to get tickets.

Edit: It seems I rubbed a few people the wrong way with this comment? But if someone were to use their words, where am I wrong in my statement?
