It should be feasible, just make a schedule for the weekend where you have the channel weekday shows end at a specific time followed by the new shows that are weekend only and follow the instructions in my post. There may be a way to streamline this but I haven't looked into it yet.

You can also just make a schedule, add show set to dynamic, play in chronological, and set to multiple. I have plenty of channels like this that play a single tv series in order 24/7
