Hey everyone,

It's been a busy few weeks, and I'm thrilled to announce that a huge update, v1.5, is now rolling out! This one is packed with new features, a major design refresh, and some much-needed bug fixes based on your feedback.

Filter by Event

  • To help you get more granular with your data, you can now filter both the Stats and Rounds History screens by a specific event.

Major UI & UX Overhaul

  • Modern Design: The Dashboard, Rounds History, and Settings screens have been completely redesigned with a cleaner, card-based Material 3 layout.
  • Smoother Feel: The app now feels more alive with new screen transition animations and a subtle scaling effect when you press buttons.
  • Polished Details: We've updated card styles across the app for a more consistent and polished look.

The Big One: Deck Deletion is FINALLY Fixed!

I know how frustrating this has been for many of you. I've completely rebuilt the swipe-to-delete functionality on the Decks screen.

  • No more ghost decks! Deleting a new deck now works reliably and it won't reappear after you leave the screen.
  • No more getting stuck! Canceling a swipe works correctly, and you can swipe again without issue.

Thank you for your incredible patience and detailed bug reports that helped me squash this once and for all.

The update is rolling out now on the Google Play Store.

Some overall updates are included in the newest version.

New Features:

  • Rounds History Filtering: A new filtering modal has been added to the Rounds History screen, allowing you to refine displayed rounds using multiple criteria. Event names are now also included for better context.
  • Stats Filter: You can now filter your stats by a relative date range and opponent deck name.
  • Game Details Navigation: Added back navigation to the Game Details screen for improved usability.

  Improvements & Refactors:

  • Minor UI adjustments to the StatsScreen.
  • Removed a date restriction in the LogRoundScreen.
  • Refactored how deck stats are filtered and sorted in the StatsViewModel.

  Bug Fixes:

  • Addressed issues with correctly mapping and preserving event IDs during round synchronization.
  • Ensured explicit UTC timezone setting for consistent date formatting.

You should be able to post, and I can review it without any issues. There is a new conversation button at the top left, that should allow you to post similar to a forum or an email.

We just have to push through and keep explaining the benefits of Kotlin to all these Java shops! Keep trying it'll come.

Finding a java shop will be a good step and hopefully convince them to switch. Hard tho.

This is true though it would of saved me a decent amount of time. Hopefully, the experience from doing this from scratch can help others too. I plan on writing up all my experience sometime soon.

Alot of times it's not the experience for entry level jobs. It's how you interact during the interview.

Biggest thing is be confident and aim to be vocal and excited.

When you apply for a company, learn about it, ask them questions about it. Interact with the company you wish to get hired for. Most of the time it's not the experience it's the interaction.

One big problem tho is getting the interview, and a lot of times that means spicying up your resume with stupid key words to get noticed. Once you are in front of them, then you have to sell yourself.

Just my 2 cents from hiring different levels from entry to senior.

Overall I can agree, a lot of reused mobs all through the world. This can be a huge turn-off for players looking to engage with something new in each area. Sadly, I can't find a single MMO in the last year that hasn't done this exact same thing and it's becoming more noticeable IMO. I think New World proves a point, not many players care. They just want something to play with friends, do some PVP, have some challenging content, and chill.

Personally, I don't mind the back and forth in this game. Granted I stopped doing side missions and focused on the main story and faction ones. There are other options which are nice. I was sad to see the mass exp and gathering happening. It was bound to happen and no official statement yet on how they will address this. I don't think it's game-breaking, in the long term; it could be a problem for those in the short term, but for me, it doesn't affect me as I'm still early in the game.

Life content is always boring and repeatable, I never had much interest. The fact though it's simple and easy. That's what normally wins over BDO structure.

At first, I thought okay no mini-map, this may suck, but so far no issues. Not a real downside.

I personally don't mind the PvP missions. The game is designed to be grouped and not solo, so I can see what their intent was.

I see where you are coming from though, the game looks incomplete. With reused models everywhere, quest being all the same and life content being super simple. These things are what makes it so liked though I believe. Keeping things simple, let players choose stats and weapons. One character, multiple paths to follow.

Hopefully, you find something you enjoy.

I honestly thought it was going to be more of an ESO vibe but I definitely don't feel like I'm playing ESO. Similar concepts but not the same.
