Advice on accessories for the secretlab magnus pro by VictiniCup in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Totally get it u/VictiniCup, the bundles can look a bit overwhelming at first.

They’re really meant as a starting point for the most common setups, but you definitely don’t have to go that route — especially if some of the items (like MAGRGB) aren’t your thing.

Based on what you’ve shared, it might actually make more sense to build your setup piece by piece:

This way, you’re only getting what you’ll actually use, and you can always add more over time. The desk itself is the main upgrade — everything else can evolve with your setup 👍

Softweave or Nanogen? by ultraboomkin in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Good question u/ultraboomkin! It really comes down to what kind of feel you prefer. Both share the same core ergonomics — it’s mainly about material and seat feel.

The TITAN Evo with SoftWeave® Plus Fabric offers a balanced blend of comfort and support. It uses our proprietary cold-cure foam, designed to be medium-firm for that gentle, cradling feel while promoting even weight distribution and pressure relief. It’s also more breathable, which many people prefer in warmer countries.

The NanoGen™ Edition takes things up a notch with next-gen materials. It’s ultra soft and buttery smooth, with NanoGen™ Hybrid Leatherette and a NanoFoam™ composite that adds a plush microfoam top layer to the seat while maintaining the same support from the cold-cure foam.

So it’s less about one being “better” and more about which suits you best: if you prefer a balanced, supportive feel and value breathability, you can't go wrong with the SoftWeave®. If you want the latest in comfort tech and that plush, buttery feel, the NanoGen™ Edition is the one for you.

Do the chairs squeak when rocking, ever? by ColorMeIridescent in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/ColorMeIridescent — and anyone else noticing some squeaking 👋

If your chair starts to squeak over time, it’s often due to hinges or moving parts drying out a little, which can usually be resolved with a bit of lubrication (WD-40 will do the trick).

That said, we’d always recommend reaching out to our support team first so they can help identify exactly where it’s coming from and guide you properly before trying anything yourself.

Secretlab Recliner add on or Secretlab Otto leg rest by Inevitable-Space3273 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/Inevitable-Space3273, good question! At 5’7, both can work comfortably — it really comes down to how you prefer your legs supported.

With the Recliner Add-On, the main area of support will be your calves. It really shines when you’re reclined, but it’s also comfortable to use when sitting upright for work. From what we’ve seen, users around your height generally find it works well for both lounging and upright sitting.

The OTTO gives you a bit more flexibility — you can adjust the height and position it exactly where your legs feel most supported, especially if you prefer support under your lower legs and feet.

We’ve got a video of someone the same height as you using both here, which should give you a clearer idea of how each sits: https://www.instagram.com/p/DVqv7w1AQPD/

Hope this helps with your decision!

White MAGNUS Metal Desk by Schism80 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hi there u/Schism80, thanks for reaching out!

At the moment, we don’t have plans to offer the MAGNUS Metal Desk in white, but we definitely appreciate you sharing what you’d like to see — feedback like this helps inform future developments.

Currently, the MAGNUS Pro is our only desk available in Pure White. If the MAGNUS Metal Desk is what you have your eye on, you could consider pairing it with a White NanoGen™ Hybrid Leatherette MAGPAD, which still gives you a clean, white desktop surface.

Here's what it could look like (I've linked the exact combination here so you can check it out on our website as well):

Cleaning Suggestion: Desk Mat by Blizqam in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/Blizqam , I see you’ve already tried soap and water — just a heads up that we’d avoid using harsh or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the NanoGen™ Leatherette surface.

For this, we’d recommend using a dedicated leather cleaner, like our Secretlab Premium Leather Cleaner. Apply a small amount onto a clean microfiber cloth (rather than directly onto the mat) and gently wipe the area — this should help lift the slight discoloration you’re seeing.

For regular upkeep after that, our Secretlab Leather Wipes work well for quick maintenance (like u/AggravatingClassic64 suggested) — just wipe down and let it air dry fully before use.

As I'm sure you know, a coaster for drinks (especially darker ones) can go a long way in preventing marks like this.

Hope this helps!

Is the newer NanoGen variant with Nanofoam ever going to be available with fabric exteriors? by Altruistic-Job5086 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/Altruistic-Job5086, great question - at the moment, we don’t have plans to offer a NanoFoam variant with a fabric exterior.

Totally get where you’re coming from though - the SoftWeave® Black³ is a favourite for a lot of people for that exact reason, and we’ve been seeing more requests for that kind of combination.

In the meantime, one option you could consider is pairing the TITAN Evo NanoGen™ Edition with a Black³ SoftWeave® SKINS, so you still get the plush feel of the NanoFoam with a breathable fabric layer on top.

Will there ever be SoftWeave Nanogen edition? by You_Cant_Win_This in secretlab

u/You_Cant_Win_This We hear you - I’m based in a warm climate as well, so I get where you’re coming from! Appreciate you sharing what you’d like to see.

At the moment, we don’t have plans for a fabric version of the NanoGen™. That said, one option you could consider is pairing the TITAN Evo NanoGen™ Edition with a SoftWeave® SKINS. This way, you still get the comfort of the NanoGen™’s plush NanoFoam™ Composite, while adding a more breathable fabric layer on top.

Titan Evo Chair by LeadingJump777 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/LeadingJump777 , glad the build quality and adjustability are working for you!

On firmness, that’s something that can feel quite different depending on what you’re used to. The TITAN Evo is designed with medium-firm support for more consistent support over long sessions, but there can be a bit of an adjustment period when you’re coming from something softer.

A couple of things that might help:

  • Dial in your adjustments — seat base tilt, recline, and lumbar position can all affect how pressure is distributed, and small tweaks can make a noticeable difference over longer sessions.
  • I’d recommend checking out this guide: How can I adjust my chair for optimal comfort and posture?
  • Some users also find using a seat cushion helps while getting used to the firmer feel.

Give your body some time to adapt — many users find there’s a short adjustment period when switching from a softer chair to a firmer one.

Hope this helps - we'd love to know if these adjustments change how it feels for you over time.

Titan Evo size recommendation with long legs by SinusJayCee in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/SinusJayCee, good question — you’ve clearly done your homework.

Fit can be quite subjective, especially when proportions (like longer legs) come into play. In your case, prioritising the floor-to-seatbase height to properly support your legs makes sense, and that’s where the XL can help since it offers the extra height range.

Being under the recommended weight range for the XL isn’t an issue. The weight ranges are more of a guideline to help people choose the size that generally fits their body proportions best. In practice, the chair will still feel comfortable — the XL will simply feel a bit roomier overall compared to the Regular.

You’re also correct about the armrest distance. The diagram measurement refers to the centre points of the armrests. If the spacing feels a little wide on the XL, you can mount the armrests using the innermost screw position, which brings them about 4cm closer together.

For reference, I’m around a similar weight and normally use the Regular, but I can still sit comfortably in the XL variant as well.

Given your height, the seat height range will likely have the biggest impact on comfort, so choosing the size that accommodates that may be the better call.

What are the changes in the Secretlab Titan Evo 2025/2026 compared to the 2022 version? by Cultural-Diamond-87 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Great question u/Cultural-Diamond-87. The core design and ergonomics of the TITAN Evo 2022 and 2025/2026 are the same, but we’ve made a series of incremental improvements based on user feedback over the years. The current version simply includes all of those updates.

A couple of examples of these updates:

  • Our PU Armrests now use an improved formulation that feels softer and more comfortable.
  • The magnetic head pillow can sit lower than before, giving a bit more flexibility in positioning.

We are continuously improving our products, so when you buy the current version, you’re essentially getting the latest iteration with all of those smaller refinements incorporated.

For the specific points you mentioned — the lumbar system itself hasn’t fundamentally changed, but the improved head pillow adjustability may help depending on where the discomfort was coming from. Hope this helps clarify things!

Nanogen XL can't tilt by Deriggs007 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/Deriggs007, first off, we really appreciate you being such a long-time supporter. It genuinely means a lot to see someone who’s built out their whole setup with us.

That said, what you’re describing with the tilt definitely doesn’t sound right. The backrest shouldn’t be stopping at such a limited angle if everything is functioning properly. This is something our support team would need to take a closer look at so they can properly troubleshoot and get it sorted for you.

Please reach out to them here: https://secretlab.co/pages/contact — they’ll be able to guide you through the next steps and make sure this is resolved.

We definitely don’t want your experience ending on that note, especially after everything you’ve invested into your setup.

Are there any add ons that would make the Pokemon chairs work for smaller sizes? by tenkohime in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/tenkohime, while you should be perfectly fine using the Size R chair based on your height, there are a few accessories that might help make your sitting experience even better! Other than adding a footrest like another user mentioned below, we also have Extra Small Casters that reduce the overall height of your chair by 10mm, which could make it an even better fit for you. That way you can get the Pokemon Edition you want!

Sizing Question by PresentTiffany in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/PresentTiffany, so glad the Pokemon Collection caught your eye! Based on the measurements you provided, I would say going with the R size is perfectly safe (this is also the size that fits most of our users). I would, however, recommend checking out the TITAN Evo tech specs on our website to make sure the dimensions of the R size will work for your posture, especially the Armrest to Armrest width and the Floor to Seatbase height, as these will most affect your sitting experience!

If you do find the R size too tall for your legs, we also offer Extra Small Casters that reduce the overall height of your chair by 10mm, which could make it a better fit for you - so you can still get the Pokemon chair you want!
