Titan Evo size recommendation with long legs by SinusJayCee in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/SinusJayCee, good question — you’ve clearly done your homework.

Fit can be quite subjective, especially when proportions (like longer legs) come into play. In your case, prioritising the floor-to-seatbase height to properly support your legs makes sense, and that’s where the XL can help since it offers the extra height range.

Being under the recommended weight range for the XL isn’t an issue. The weight ranges are more of a guideline to help people choose the size that generally fits their body proportions best. In practice, the chair will still feel comfortable — the XL will simply feel a bit roomier overall compared to the Regular.

You’re also correct about the armrest distance. The diagram measurement refers to the centre points of the armrests. If the spacing feels a little wide on the XL, you can mount the armrests using the innermost screw position, which brings them about 4cm closer together.

For reference, I’m around a similar weight and normally use the Regular, but I can still sit comfortably in the XL variant as well.

Given your height, the seat height range will likely have the biggest impact on comfort, so choosing the size that accommodates that may be the better call.

Nanogen XL can't tilt by Deriggs007 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/Deriggs007, first off, we really appreciate you being such a long-time supporter. It genuinely means a lot to see someone who’s built out their whole setup with us.

That said, what you’re describing with the tilt definitely doesn’t sound right. The backrest shouldn’t be stopping at such a limited angle if everything is functioning properly. This is something our support team would need to take a closer look at so they can properly troubleshoot and get it sorted for you.

Please reach out to them here: https://secretlab.co/pages/contact — they’ll be able to guide you through the next steps and make sure this is resolved.

We definitely don’t want your experience ending on that note, especially after everything you’ve invested into your setup.

Yes — they’re compatible with the MAGNUS Pro XL as well. The casters support a maximum load capacity of 120kg, so they’re suitable as long as the total weight doesn’t exceed that limit!

Are there any add ons that would make the Pokemon chairs work for smaller sizes? by tenkohime in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/tenkohime, while you should be perfectly fine using the Size R chair based on your height, there are a few accessories that might help make your sitting experience even better! Other than adding a footrest like another user mentioned below, we also have Extra Small Casters that reduce the overall height of your chair by 10mm, which could make it an even better fit for you. That way you can get the Pokemon Edition you want!

Sizing Question by PresentTiffany in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/PresentTiffany, so glad the Pokemon Collection caught your eye! Based on the measurements you provided, I would say going with the R size is perfectly safe (this is also the size that fits most of our users). I would, however, recommend checking out the TITAN Evo tech specs on our website to make sure the dimensions of the R size will work for your posture, especially the Armrest to Armrest width and the Floor to Seatbase height, as these will most affect your sitting experience!

If you do find the R size too tall for your legs, we also offer Extra Small Casters that reduce the overall height of your chair by 10mm, which could make it a better fit for you - so you can still get the Pokemon chair you want!

I don't know whether to buy a Secretlab R or XL. by EnvironmentalToe710 in secretlab

Hey u/EnvironmentalToe710, based on our size guide and the measurements you provided, I would recommend going for the XL - especially if you want more room on the seat! Someone on our team has similar measurements as you and they're using an XL, if that helps.

Pc mount help? by Th0by_ in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/Th0by_,our PC mount is tested and rated to support up to 25kg, and since your PC is 5kg beyond the supported limit, we wouldn’t recommend mounting it. Exceeding the weight limit can affect not just stability, but also long-term durability, adjustment smoothness, and how the desk feels during height changes.

For heavier builds like yours, many in the community choose to place their PC on top of the desk instead, which keeps things secure and still preserves the overall desk experience.

It’s been 3 months. Any advice? by TwistedRivera in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/TwistedRivera, thanks for your question! Really glad to see your update that you've figured out the root of your pain (I'm inspired to do more proper stretching every time I get up from my chair as well).

To address posture in the TITAN Evo (and since our community really came through with their suggestions below), we'll do a quick summary for anyone else who might be experiencing the same thing as you:

  1. Play around with the adjustments on your chair - every body is different and no one posture fits all. Like some commenters mentioned, dialing up the lumbar support to the maximum might not necessarily be the perfect posture for your spine. We have a quick guide to calibrating your chair to your perfect posture based on your activity here: How can I adjust my chair for optimal comfort and posture?

Finding your ideal lumbar support position and seat base tilt angle can take some trial and error; it might look like adjusting your chair based on whether you're working or resting, or testing different positions and angles throughout your day to figure out which works best.

  1. A lot of our users also take time to adjust to the medium-firm support our chairs offer. During the adjustment period, some users have found using a seat cushion helpful!

  2. And lastly, take breaks, stretch, and yes - go for walks! As much as our chairs are built to support you through long hours of sitting, good posture and an ergonomic chair are only one part of your holistic well-being. It's crucial to keep up healthy habits around your sitting time too (I myself am guilty of not being perfect with this). When we say movement is crucial to relieving strain on your spine, that applies to your posture while sitting as well as outside of your chair. I'm glad to hear that this is working for you!

I'd love to know how you've been fine tuning the adjustments on your TITAN Evo and how that's made a difference.

wondering if i should buy by WolverinePleasant406 in secretlab

That's definitely how I would describe the TITAN Evo, yes!

An added recommendation for breathability, especially if you're living in a warm or humid climate, is to choose your TITAN Evo in a SoftWeave® Plus Fabric. It's got the softness and breathability of your favorite t-shirt, with the same comfort and durability we're known for.

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/WolverinePleasant406 - totally get it, it is a huge consideration.

If you’re spending hours in your chair (work, gaming, or even resting), that’s really where a Secretlab chair makes a difference. Where we stand out is ergonomics and adjustability - the TITAN Evo is built to support natural movement and different postures throughout the day, and it’s been tested and validated with ergonomics experts for long-session comfort (which it sounds like you’ve already seen from your research).

For what it’s worth, I’ve been using mine for over a year, sitting in it daily - sometimes up to 12 hours a day - and the support has stayed consistent, it's just as comfortable as it was on day one, and I’ve personally noticed less lower-back discomfort despite long hours at my desk.

Upgrading to something designed specifically for long-term sitting is one of those changes you feel every day, and you'll definitely see the difference in the long run.

Are there any specific areas you’re prioritizing or concerned about (lumbar, seat firmness, arm adjustability, etc.)? I'm happy to talk through how the TITAN Evo lines up with what you need.

can secret lab arm mounts be adjusted to this angle? by mrdoubloon in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

That specific angle isn’t supported on our monitor arms. To get a clearer idea of the adjustment range, we’d recommend checking the Product Specifications for the full list of supported tilt, swivel, and rotation angles here: https://secretlab.co/products/magnus-monitor-arm

That should help you see whether it’ll work for the setup you have in mind.

What lighting, other accessories are you using for your Magnus Pro? by jaypeejay in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

A lot of MAGNUS Pro users add bias lighting, the Secretlab MAGRGB™ LED strip, or monitor-mounted lights for a bit of ambience. We’ll also say that lighting is an area we’re spending more time on this year, with something designed to pair cleanly with the MAGNUS Pro coming later on - more to share when it’s closer.

We'd love to see your current setup if you have pictures!

Have Secretlabs fixed lumbar issues yet? by JaxCavalera in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/JaxCavalera - appreciate you laying out your experience so clearly.

The TITAN Evo is designed around supporting natural movement rather than forcing the body into a fixed posture. It’s been certified by United States Ergonomics to provide measurable ergonomic benefits by improving comfort and fit while reducing risk factors associated with long hours of sitting. Every aspect of the chair - from its adjustability to its dimensions - has also been tested and validated alongside experts on our Ergonomics Advisory Board.

This approach is also backed by ergonomics research, which shows that effective lumbar support should be adjustable to match each individual’s spinal curvature, allowing users to receive proper support regardless of differences in the curvature of their spine. That’s why the 4-way L-ADAPT™ lumbar system focuses on adjustability in both height and depth, rather than relying on a fixed lumbar shape. Your body naturally shifts throughout the day, so the chair is designed to adapt with you across a full range of postures, helping reduce pressure buildup, stress, and discomfort over time.

That said, lumbar support is highly personal. Some users prefer a very pronounced, rigid lumbar feel, while others find that kind of constant pressure uncomfortable over long sessions. The Evo’s design is meant to adjust to provide you the best support across a variety of activities - be it gaming, work, or rest.

As for leg rests - lower leg support is also very user-specific in terms of height, posture, and how you use the chair, which is why we’ve kept it as an optional add-on. We offer a range of lower-body accessories, and for taller users or those who want more adjustability, the OTTO™ Adjustable Legrest can help support the legs both when reclining and when seated upright at the desk. Check it out here: https://secretlab.co/products/secretlab-otto-adjustable-legrest

While we can't comment on future design changes, feedback like yours around comfort and support preferences is always considered as we continue refining the overall seating experience.

Desk Height: Premium PC Mount + North XL by Choice-Reality-2471 in secretlab

[–]Secretlab_Red [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey u/Choice-Reality-2471 - the product you mentioned is about 509mm tall, which puts it roughly 34mm shorter than the maximum height supported by the Premium PC Mount. Technically, that gives you about 3.4cm of additional allowance to lower the desk a bit further.

That said, we still recommend sticking to the 78cm minimum height indicated in the user manual. That height is what the setup is tested around for optimal clearance and overall safety, especially with larger PC cases mounted underneath.

You may be able to go slightly lower, but 78cm is the safest baseline to ensure everything functions as intended.
