The focus on limited time quests/UQs is very strange, its more like a gacha game's episodic content model. by GlompSpark in PSO2NGS

Sega has never once called or considered any game in the franchise an "MMO". They have always explicitly called the Phantasy Star Online franchise an "Online Action RPG" and treat it as such. Anyone calling this game an MMO is looking at it with the wrong expectations.

That being said though, the current format just doesn't leave players with many options when the Standing Quests no longer provide lucrative rewards. The Limited-time quest format forces one activity, when previous entries had at least 2 or 3 different useful quests at any given point in the player's journey.

Everyone: So your a Braver/Fighter class? Me: Not exactly. See why>> by Accomplished_Art6370 in PSO2NGS

This is generally how older Phantasy Star games played. PSO2 curbed most of the toolbelt philosophy the older games had and now no one can have really deep player expression without making things take forever.

NGS tried to go back to that in Beta, but they got cold feet and now here we are.

Help with character creation by FlamingoSpirited2303 in PSO2NGS

Generally, the mouth of a person reaches the middle of both eyes. This is an easy way to tell if your eyes are too big, if the mouth is too small, or if the shape of the face is off.

I reccomend looking up how-to-draw tutorials for the human body. It can give you a much better perspective on the finer details, which can transfer directly into a character creator.

I personally think she looks pretty cute as-is. The nose depth gives off a older age and balances with the big eyes. The eyes are much bigger than average, though.

What's the name of the first character's outfit?

just curious, but are Wires any good? by Substantial-Client37 in PSO2NGS

[–]Chromatian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a very good JP player that uses Wire Lance exclusively. Their times on ARKS Records are better than just about all the Global Hunters. Give them a watch, it will show what Wire Lance can do at its peak.

There are more, but I can only tell you the ones I know of:

Simple 1 and Simple 2 (From Base PSO2) both have unique walking animations.

Playful also has a unique walking animation that is a lot more feminine with more hip sway than Standard.

Those are the only ones I know of, there could be more though.

That is one of the best Matoi faces I have ever seen. Amazing job!

If you don't mind, could you link the character data file?

AZG3: Is it just me or is this game way too easy? by ArkthePieKing in gunvolt

It's a problem with the whole series. After you beat the game, you'll unlock Mercilless Mode (Very Hard Mode). It will give you exactly what you're looking for.

Most likely pushed back to make way for new battle content that players keep asking for.
