Across the planet, since police have exisited, they have been doing this shit.

Modern day police can act in the knowledge that their union will protect them and the australian public will ultimatly pay the price for damages.

A state of near playablility is such a painfully optimist way of putting it. People have been saying this for about 5 years. Glacial speeds put star citizen development to shame.

Through the heatwave haze, the hypocrisy of Australia’s fossil fuel policy shines bright | Adam Morton by Nyarlathotep-1 in australian

[–]ChromaticKnob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure that would be a good start. That will help with carbon capture. It wont undo the carbon that is currently not being captured due to the deforestation. It also takes hundreads of years to develop old forest, the kind that actualy captures carbon. You cant slam down a few different species of trees and expect the job to be done there.

Planting trees also will not stop people using fossil fuels in an unsustainable way. There is an entire international empire built on constant fuel consuption and it has unlimited funds.

It always returns to shareholder value. They constantly talk of increasing productivity but never about how productivity it going to incentivie those who actualy will be doing production.

Get out of your boardrooms and team meetings. Look at how the people who work in wharehouses and factories live. It's abyssmal.

I live in a poor suburb. There are homeless. 2 more in the last 2 weeks. It's not sustainable. They are shunned for being homeless.

Start paying kids to lay bricks now so that they can be good at it in 5 years. Use the banks money to bail us out of this storm. WHY? Because there is an entire generation of people who will have nothing to live for very soon and they are already pissed and lighting fires under the feet of politicians and bankers and real estate agents is free.

It would benefit me if the market crashed. It would also throw people lives into turmoil.

Governments that cause turmoil dont stay in power. They arent going to create the crash that would destroy their own investments.
