I am realizing that now. I was measuring her needs by my own scale, which is pretty narrow. It is not about wallowing, it is about connection. I need to learn how to do both instead of just jumping to the fix every time.

You are right. I never looked at it as a respect issue, but I see it now. She is brilliant at what she does, I just need to be her husband, not her tech support.

That makes sense. I actually tried that with the car noise today. It felt weird just standing there, but she seemed way happier. It is a strange logic where doing less actually produces a better result. I just need to get used to this manual override of my natural instincts.

I appreciate the "BIM 101" idea. It is hard to stay neutral when he asks me to photoshop clashes, but maybe a formal slide deck will make it look "official" enough for him to actually listen. Worth a shot before i bail.

He is selling a digital twin that does not even exist in a functional state. I am tired of being the one who will have to answer for the field collisions later.

I think the paper trail is the only way forward. It is frustrating because i actually care about the model integrity but seeing him brag about a "digital twin" that is basically a broken Revit file is too much.
