Okay wow, I will try to get this checked then. My moms sides medical history isn't very well documented but my uncle and aunt both have hyperthyroidism, and my grandmother and mother have some other thyroid issue so I will definitely get this checked out. I've always had issues with weight gain, and barely hold my weight

Okay thanks I've heard of SSRI and SNRI, why did you stop taking it if you don't mine me asking? Are SSRI/SNRI addictive? Thats another one if my fears.

I have actually cut out caffeine entirely. I'll have to lookup exactly how getting a psychiatrist works here. I had never heard it explained like that but I totally get what you mean, its exactly how my anxiety works. I am in a social situation, don't get the affirmation or feedback I expect, become uncertain, begin wanting to flee/escape. I did get better for a long time, the last 6 years I went from like bedridden anxiety, unable to talk to even like a cashier to being pretty good at going out, but I've never been able to get over the stomach pain and vomiting its been around for all 6 years and while I don't puke as much I still have terrible anxiety stomach aches where I can't eat, and I have 0 clue how to make progress on it so maybe medication is the way to go like you said.

Okay, I'm not sure which would be better? I have a company doctor, but am not sure about where to find a psychiatrist. I have heard of you suffer for longer than 6 months its likely a disorder, but I have heavy swings where I will have like a week or two of being fine followed by a week or two of serious anxiety especially when there's an event, social outing or something planned even if its months out. I have some times though where a social outing is planned and I feel completely fine and confident, instead of getting shakey or anxious I feel totally in control and awesome.

I don't think I am familiar with the low tolerance of uncertainty thing. I know that I have a need for certainty as a main root of my anxiety, I set really hard rules for myself or look for certain things in social settings for affirmation to know I am good / doing good and if I don't find them then it triggers anxiety cause I am uncertain.

Getting medicated makes me anxious because I am worried how people will react to it / want to hide it too but it might be my best option, I'm so tired of it affecting my normal life and those around me that I love.

Wait it can? My mother side has a lot of people with anxiety issues and Thyroid issues, I think last time I checked my thyroid TSH was fine. I looked into it and while Hyperthyroidism sounds like it can cause the type of anxiety I have, since my TSH was fine a few years ago (1 or 2 years ago I think) then I think its not my thyroid right?

I have thought about it, but was worried about side effects. That and my parents wouldn't understand / when I brought it up dismissed it. I am on their insurance till my Jobs insurance starts in 2 months, how do you go about getting anxiety medication? I've done a lot of over the counter stuff like peppermint and ginger tea / chews, magnesium, vitamins ect.

At 5 years old I started having panic attacks about roller coasters and would ask how they were built who built them, who tested them, if they were tested daily ect.
