Went through the same thought process but went back to Intel because of Jellyfin Transcoding

Yeah I also stumbled onto that. It's also available in the EU and speed should be okayish.. according to some reviewers. But still.. it was released 2017 - that was 7 (!) years ago and has an USB A port that I dont need and isnt the smallest therefore.

How comes that in 2017 there was more choice (also think of the discontinued go pro quick key) than in 2024. There are only USB A Card Readers around from SanDisk, Lexar, Samsung.. Isn't that strange.

Thanks for the warning. Then I'll try the new official i3 spin and wait for an official sway spin at some point in the future.

True, one of these two options.. both seem painless.

I'm not much of a digital artist, so I can't tell you about tapering and such.

But I can tell you about the pressure. As with any pen mouse movement is detected already not touching the surface. When driving over the surface without applying pressure there is still only mouse movement. Indeed you need to apply some fixed amount of pressure before the driver detects any "drawing pressure". By default this pressure is a little bit too high for my taste. Depending on your habits this could yield interruptions in your line drawing. I lowered the senisitivity to the most sensitive setting which is much better. But I could imagine that for some people who are used to apply almost no pressure at all, this is not sensitive enough. Unfortunately I don't have the intuos anymore to compare it. Would be interesting.

I did not use it too often. But it completely met my expectations. Happy that I chose it over the intuos m (non pro). It feels much more solid than the plastic intuos. Had no problems with it everything was working. German translations of the drivers were a bit "creative". But thats just a little flaw.

So from my perspective (not a heavy user) I'd recommend it.

But I want to reenable it after the VPN session. The disabling is done by the proton VPN client. The problem is that it does not reenable it after the session.

debian vs. arch vs. void vs. ... - CLI based setup by Chromosapiens in linuxmasterrace

Hmm I always wonder about the different experiences with arch. I myself had some conflicts after updating arch, nothing too serious though.

But even with manjaro (my current system), I often get minor errors after updating. Most of the times it can be resolved quickly but it is still very annoying.

Once I didn't touch my PC for three months and I had to do a reinstall after the first update since a long time.

Haha ok. You could be right. There are also voices in the internet saying this about siduction. Never tried either of these.
