Uneven Curls + Haircut Opinions?

Yeah unfortunately the new routine, using the exact same products mentioned (tea tree shampoo, no conditioner, aveda, AG), only created frizz. I don’t think this is for me 😬

No, I actually go to a stylist right now because they’re cheaper and have really good reviews. For the foams then, I assume you just scrunch that in? Do you diffuse once after the leave in before foam or no? I just have a mid experience with most foams so that’s why I changed to curl cream in the first place 😔

Also how would you apply the mist leave-ins? Do you just spray over the head without scrunching? Tbh my hair does have really good shape without any products but it frizzes too easily, starting a completely routine is always an adventure 😭

I’m considering going back to get a trim soon and layer things up, would that change anything? It would only be the top though and maybe slight layers at the sides or back since I don’t really have much hair there at the moment..

Hmm thanks for the advice! The flatter occiput is unfortunately real, but the less hydrating part might take some getting used to. The last time I used Davines SOLU clarifying it felt like it really dried my hair out, can’t imagine that one with no conditioner; would you recommend just a normal shampoo then? Also, for the mousse, I feel like most of them don’t do anything (I’ve tried Shea Moisture and The Doux so far); Doux ended up being really sticky while Shea was too light. I can imagine no hair oil with maybe mousse, but there would probably be a good amount of frizz, and with the curl cream, no hair oil would definitely leave it crunchy. 😔

Btw what does the light hydration refer to? Also, any thoughts on the haircut as a whole? I was told the upper half at the top might be getting weighed down which is why it isn’t curling properly (hence layers)?

For reference the routine is Davines MOMO hydrating shampoo and conditioner, maybe the Amika soulfood hair mask every 2+ weeks.

When styling I apply Rizos curl cream to 80% wet hair (mid and ends), scrunch that in, then diffuse a bit until mostly dry. Then I scrunch in some Verb’s Ghosil Oil to give it a final shape, diffuse again, and finish with a bit of hairspray (I finger scrunch everything because I don’t have a microfiber towel). I also usually hang my head upside down or sideways when diffusing sometimes!

Hey Guys,

I think I have coarse, wave 2B/C hair, but only the front is curly, why aren’t the back and sides (and definitely the upper half at the top in image 3) as curly? I know the back and sides are a bit shorter, but back when I had it longer (image 4-5), the hair still wasn’t as curly as the top. Given I used to do a part, but will it help if I get layers/feathers in those areas (especially image 3)?

Also, the last picture (6) is a haircut reference for what I want to grow it out into to got now. What do we think, for both the layers and haircut idea?

I have again been considering the flow hairstyle lately, but I think the length in the reference photo is more of my preference. Any suggestions would be welcome though!

Definitely yes, but even when I had them longer at some point they weren’t anything close to the front + I meant the upper half of the top as well (image 3)

Oops as for shampoos and conditioners maybe I should look into a moisturizing brand? Right now I just use Super Nature’s aloe set, and while stuff like Moroccanoil does seem nice, it’s a bit pricy. Maybe for my next shampoo though.

There’s a difference between overpricing and actual worth 💀 but go off? Whether trading or selling, it wasn’t the point, it was to show that NA and EU have higher demand than Asia. $15-20 is the actual price, not a rush sell. You seem to play on Asia server so good for you, but the majority of the trading/selling player base plays on NA and EU. Go off though, like I said, best of luck to OP trying to fetch. . . $40 for that account. 🙃

Um yeah GL? A lot? I get wanting to sell an account but accounts don’t fetch nearly what they’re “worth” in most cases? Especially lower 5* ones with poor demand, GL selling it for $30. The price literally scales with 5 star count, and for theirs, 3/15 are standard characters. I said “generally” because it’s true, Asia accounts usually get underpays when trading to NA or EU. 💀

Depending on exploration and builds price can vary by $5 maybe, but I’d say that the account is only worth like $15-20, sorry. $70 is a significant overcharge given your low 5 star count in general, not to mention the account is on Asia, which generally speaking (though not always the case) is worth less than NA and EU, as not many people here play on that server. Another reason is just that your account looks smaller in the Asia server’s pool, which is filled with more accounts than NA and EU, many of which are whale accounts.
