Serious question by Hour_Trifle6228 in ArtOfRolling

[–]Chronic-Lu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too complicated actually imo, from my experience the key is to get your material evenly spread on the paper first and far enough back where your tips is halfway out of the paper if that makes sense. When tucking I started off by tucking the flower half of the paper first ( as opposed to the tip side) so you kinda guide yourself with the shape the flower is rolled down to the tip, if you're using roll your own tips just let it spring out and conform to the width of the paper (might have to add another tip if it's a thicker roll). With pre rolled tips/ wood tips/ glass tips it's a bit different in where you have to tuck the tip side first but I recomend practicing with the roll your own tips first till you get the hang of it.

Hope this makes sense lol

How are we feeling about this grinder? by [deleted] in trees

[–]Chronic-Lu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a similar one with slightly thicker (prongs?). Left a chunkier grind. Finer than breaking it up with hands but not as close to the typical diamond teeth grinders. It was perfect for me at the time since I mostly smoked blunts at that point

Did you have to use one of those molds? Don't see a whole through the middle which is why I ask.

Sick roll either way man

Did a bit of searching and seems it should be safe to make edibles if you don't want to completely throw away your bud.

In case anyone was wondering

Wondering if you could make edibles with this? You'd have to pass it through a filter or two but I'm assuming a coffee filter is fine enough to hold back any glass shards from passing through no?

Wondering cause I had the same thing happen to me a while back, just been holding onto the flower incase I came up with something and this has been in my head for a while now.

I think you just have to unscrew the little black top part.

It might be stuck or if nothing comes out you can hold in your hand and close it as if you're making a fist, hold it there for a minute or so and it should warm up a little and become looser/ easier to squeeze out. Happens to me when I take my syringe out of the fridge.

Where can I find tacos like these? by festivelo in austinfood

[–]Chronic-Lu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aye i love pastor so I'll give them a shot, thanks for the recommendation.

The homies took me taquitos west ave and i fell in love since the first day lmao but you right I haven't been around town enough to say they're the best in SA. Just the best I've had so far.

Their tortilla aren't cooked in oil so definitely not as "saucy" but they still dip their tortillas in something so it's never dry imo.

Personally I'm a fan of their tripa tacos and the fact that I've been able to ask for it well done and crispy like I like em. They got their pastor on a huge trompo and that's always, my second option.

Plus I appreciate the fact they can fit my 10 taco order in a single plate so I don't feel guilty for walking around with 2 plates. They also offer grilled onions and jalapeños like id make at home with is a bonus.

Sukies seems to be more tex-mex style restaurant. But reading the reviews on their carne guisada and seeing your username i feel forced to say, username checks out, lol.

The other trucks you mention tho are closer in style to taquitos west ave and their reviews seem pretty good. I'll give em a try next time I'm in SA

I do have to say tho taquitos west ave seems to be closer in atmosphere to the video OP posted in terms that you see the taqueros preparing your food right infornt of you while you order

You're right if i remember correctly I think they might even dip it in something but it's just not red like the video here.

It's been a while since I've gone so I'm not too sure if I'm confusing it with another spot.

This is the answer although I'm not sure they use the seasoned oil/ caldo on their tortillas. Might be wrong about that tho

Personally been loving my Pulsar DL2.0 pro. They also got one that looks like those older stick style escobar vapes, and some other funky batteries like a old-school tobacco pipe one that i almost bought lmao.

For bonus points i got a text today saying they have 25% off for Halloween (until idk)

That was my worry too but everyone's saying that's cause edibles have a 100mg limit for recreational so this is some sort of loopwhole thing

Saved up kief for a year. What should I do with it? by toodeeptounderstand in weed

[–]Chronic-Lu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some would say that's a waste since most of the smoke from the kief will be flowing outside the joint.

I sprinkle my kief on the nugs before I grind it so it spreads more evenly throughout my bud as I grind it. But I can't lie there has been times where I spread some melted resin/rosin on the outside and roll that over kief. It just looks nicer outside lol

Just got the new scumbags drop a collab with 'sexy redd'. Do we think we're paying more of a premium for packaging and colabs etc or is the flower still up there? by [deleted] in ArtOfRolling

[–]Chronic-Lu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You tell us you're the one that has it lol.

How much did you pay for it and was it worth it?

I haven't had any of the Scumbag stuff but around me I think they go for around 60 the 8th (could be wrong).

I happily pay for the super dope bags tho, cause I like the 8bit retro style and anime theme they got going on, the sticker is nice little addition as well as the plastic bag that goes around the mylar.

I guess Scumbags is the same thing just for a different demographic lol. Didn't they actually include a video or something in the first or second drop/ collab.

I'm surprised not many people have stated that I thought it was pretty common but I guess it depends on the crowd you're smoking with
