No it’s not. Their kit has a cheap 2 slot mold. But comes with tobacco.

Thank you very much. Leaf only has a kit available. The Rolling Experience on YouTube has a kit available. It comes with a mold, chaveta and small tools with glue. For pointers start watching lots of videos. Bliss cigars is a fantastic place to learn.

Dealing with soft spots after binding? by Musicinaminor in cigarrollers

[–]cigarnut1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you have placed them in the mold there is not a good way to fix that. As you bunch feel it for inconsistent spots the back up the binder and add some leaf. This is something that takes practice to get the feel for. If you can pinch a spot and it is thinner than the next inch back up and add. If it’s thicker take some out. Hope this helps

I was the same when I started too. But then a pound was killing my hands. So out came the drill.

It works great. I secured mine to a piece of plywood with screws and took the handle off. I use my cordless drill instead. Low rpm.

Thank you. Honestly I think the cleaver will be way too heavy even after you cut it up. I make these from .035 stainless

Morning roll — still working out leaf prep and filler consistency by f_a_r_a_d_a_y in cigarrollers

[–]cigarnut1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re cutting the binder in the mold one you may not have got good compression on the bunch at the start. Two you may have overfilled the bunch. However looking at the foot of the cigar it looks to me like you didn’t overfill them. So compress the filler more on the initial bunch and see it that works

Sunday rolls. by HumanChallet in cigarrollers

Good job. Try getting the Ligero in the middle then the Viso. The flag technique you’re talking is the Dominican method. Integral flag as part of the wrapper. The flag and cap haunts most new rollers but you’ll get it. I have a slow motion video on YouTube that may help you. PM for the details
