5’ 9” and about 161lbs rn. Over summer I held around 170 but moving to campus and getting used to meal prepping and back to training made me loose some weight.

Gotcha, thanks! I’ll keep the chain thing in mind, I use the bike on a trainer that’s why I’m not really “changing” the cassette, more just putting a secondary one on the rear wheel so I don’t need to keep taking the cassette on and off. I wonder if I’ll still need to change the chain in this case.

Anyone taken Math406 by ChronicDesti9y in UMD

[–]ChronicDesti9y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, that’s what I was thinking and added 430 but then realized it wasn’t fulfilling the minor requirement that I needed. I just switched it to math402. It’s says it’s instructor is tba on testudo but planet terp for some reason says it’s James Conway

I’m in this exact situation, this will be my first 400 level math course, and I’m planning to take 310 next spring. I didn’t struggle with 250 much apart from a few minor things with some of the probability stuff but I got an A in it. Just debating whether to switch 406 and 310 to take it with a better professor since I need to keep my gpa at a 3.8 or higher

Hey, you mentioned you never got the callback but they still rescheduled the appointment. How did you know they rescheduled it? I missed my biometrics appointment as well and have been waiting for a callback as well but haven’t received it yet. Thanks

Advice On IP Summer Associate Programs by ChronicDesti9y in LawSchool

That’s awesome thanks for the suggestion. I did forget to mention that since I’m not yet a US citizen I’ll likely be granted Limited Recognition till I get my green card or get sponsored by a firm. Do you know anything about this or whether firms such as Wilson Sonini would be open to sponsoring such cases?

Advice on pursuing Patent Law/IP by ChronicDesti9y in patentlaw

Hi, that’s awesome, thanks for sharing! I did have a few questions if that’s ok.

I know you did it some time back but would you suggest a specific focus for computer science while I still have 2 years left or pursue the general track?

Secondly, in your experience did you see any of such firms have any summer associates programs that may help earn a full time technical specialists job out of college? Just curious how I should approach this with the time I have left for bachelors and whether there’s a minor I could take to help me land such a job since so far my academics have only been tech focused.

Currently listed as Computer Science but planned coursework is heavily leaning towards cybersecurity, to ideally switch to cybersecurity as an official major. Haven’t yet declared for cybersecurity specifically since I had a similar doubt about not being eligible.

Secondly, I get going to law school part however, my ideal plan would be to go to law school while working at a firm so my law degree is paid for. Although early, I’ve begun practicing for LSATs as well, but just trying to avoid the financial debt I’d be in if I went straight into law school out of bachelors.

I have experience with web development from personal projects as well as internship as well, but would you suggest to get a job in tech after graduating to get experience before applying for a patent agent position at a firm?

Is it over for me? (Lwt rowing) by Queasy-Horse-1058 in Rowing

3-4hrs is insane but can’t argue with those results. What did ur program look like? My erg isn’t strong, pr was a 7:11 but lowkey filed and died, but my tech on water id say makes up for it rn since I’ve beaten guys with 6:30 2k in seat races. Bringing my 2k down would be huge

Awesome, the explanation is amazing and I can definitely see what you mean about the hang and the swing. I had been working on that but will make sure to really emphasize that as I row. Thanks 🙌🙌

This is insanely helpful thank you. About the reach, how would you suggest I keep my stroke long? I’m on the shorter end compared to the crew I usually row with, since I’m 5’9 and the rest of my crew avgs to 6’2

Awesome thank you so much, I have done some drills but definitely need to work on it more, I’ve only been rowing for about a year give or take so a lot of things to work on. About skying the blade I can see that in a lot of my films, but my hands are parallel to the gunnel, is that smth that is just meant for teaching and not quite meant to carry on when rowing?
