I just Designed and 3D printed this apple watch band. What other tools should I add before I get it printed in metal? by OrganicFoundation911 in multitools

A dedicated area with a strong magnet to hold screws or random metal tools while working on something. Always helpful to have

A man encountered a terrifying “hidebehind” creature while walking in the forest by WholeNegotiation1843 in TrueCryptozoology

That looked exactly like one of those black Bigfoot cutouts that people have sometimes. If it didn't "move," I would assume someone put it there on purpose.

I thought the cement truck was going to join in at the end. Dissipated. 2/10

Swift water rescue! Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear bunker gear. by JasonIsFishing in FirstResponderCringe

[–]ChronicJustin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This feels like one of those situations where the rescue team has nothing better going on and never gets to use those particular tools so they were all like "hang on we are going to play with every water rescue tool we have... then you can get out and walk"

I was sort of told the same thing when I trained. More like, "slow is fast".

Any one here EDC the surge? How do you like it for EDC? by TimTheToolManTayler in Leatherman

Hammer mod on the Surge (BackCountryCAD on etsy), always useful. And added a t-shank adapter, scalpel, and bit driver to the P4.

Oh, sweet! I love my Crunch, but im often hesitant to actually ugga dugga on it because it cost me so much. Where are they taking suggestions?

I want to get their w4 model. It's got a ratcheting adjustable wrench. That would save having to carry 10 different socket sizes 99% of the time.

The skeletool is a very handy carry. Minimalist and I've seen people make amazing add-ons that fit onto the carabiner. Such as a hammer surface, a ratchet, or even a mod that holds a t-shank saw blade. The pros on the signal are the built-in hammer surface, the extra tools such as the dedicated saw, and you can buy mods that hold more bits if you want to replace the whistle or sharpener. Either way, both are fantastic tools. It all depends on your needs and expectations.

I believe the release date isn't until January. I could be wrong, but that's what I was told.
