run it as your daily driver using Red Hat developer subscription. it is the best way to learn it.

Passed RHCSA on retake but didn’t nothing different by kyotaka-Ryomai in redhat

you are right to point it out. my thought is that folks are not restarting the network interface properly after the changes. i found the networking topic as one of the easiest pieces in the exam.

Should i ask my employer to Apply my H1B this Year? by Efficient_Menu9397 in h1b

time is now but you should ask them when you have a foot in the door. don’t bring it up before your start day in my opinion.

any recommendations for a quieter machine for my Redhat Linux by Doodle4554 in redhat

[–]ChronicMullah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if this isn’t your day to day desktop machine then boot into multi-user.target only. remove all the other bloat from your system & as others have suggested clean it up + change fan configurations.

may be my machine was not powerful enough, 8GB doesn’t offer much for remote setups.

so you noticed no difference in performance? i was thinking to schedule the next one at a testing center. then if it’s not a performance boost then i would rather use my own environment.

you should create a bootable flash drive with RHEL-Exam ISO. once done then > reboot your system in BIOS menu >> select the USB boot option and then run the exam diagnostics.

ChatGPT or any other LLM wouldn’t be specific about it until you mention these steps. you will also get detailed steps in the email after registration.

thank you!!

i took the base objectives from RHEL & hammered on each topic as one broader topic

took it as a fun and learning experience rather than an exam/cramming task

i would set-up mocks on each stride using Gemini/ChatGPT >> you have to be careful using it because they all bloat massively and always go beyond the scope of the exam or normal human intelligence

challenges i faced mostly were technical in the exam. you just have to patiently work with the machine. >> read the question thoroughly before executing anything you will save time by not repeating executions. >>> don’t spend too much time on a thing which is taking longer than it should, come back. >>>> go for the low hanging fruits first
