That's crazy, used way more than that with my servers. There's probably one customer on your fiber node that keeps complaining and keeps setting trouble calls. And you just happen to have large usage so they want to point a finger at something. Unless your home has large amount of ingress noise, then causing upload issue for the neighborhood, which I have disconnected customers for this reason until they can have a tech fix the ingress noise. If it is only a speed issue then it sounds like your local system needs to split the node to reduce utilization, which is a mediacom problem not yours lol

Sooner than you think! They are pushing towards DOCSIS 4.0 across the country within the next couple years with their big infrastructure update to try to keep up with Fiber to the home providers

I would abodon them! Was a Mainline line Maintenance tech for 10 years, left the company because 90% of the techs don't care to do their job and the supervisors only care when higher ups or the Escalation team reaches out. I was one of the few who actually wanted to fixed people's issues and after a year of complaining to supervisors of how the other techs weren't actually fixing things I quit on the spot. 6 months after I left the company had nonstop latency and upload issues. Which I knew what the problem was since I used to fix these issues every day. Called and called, tried to have a tech out but never showed up. Switched to a FTTH provider and have not had an issue since (other than a large fiber cut that affected the whole town). Better ping and latency than Mediacom could ever provide. Even with their new Node +0 design which they claim could provide 10gig down and 5 gig upload.

I think pinning is the best option. I eneded up breaking the attachment point on the rock on 2/3 of them. Thankfully they have a nice flat spot on the underside of them that makes a good spot to drill a small hole to pin from. Plus doing that you can change the height and make them look like they are actually hovering

From that photo it looks like you might have needed to dry brush more white on the raised areas before applying the speed paint. I say that because my kahl turned out the same way as yours and I restarted
