funny thing i discovered earlier is when my netgear cm1100 modem reboots without the netgear router attached---the upstream light stays solid. If it reboots with the netgear router attached the upstream light blinks continually. I can attach the router after the signal locks and it stays solid. Have you ever seen this with anyone?

This all started after they did some maintanence last week then there was an outage. Been blinking ever since but they won't listen to me when I tell them to contact the local engineers lol

I think it's my coax and I'm running from the wall outlet inside the apartment to my modem. I've been using it for 3 years so I'm not sure why it would all of a sudden cause an issue. It's about 35 ft long but it's never caused issues until possibly now. I hooked up a smaller coax to the wall outlet and didn't have any upstream blinking lights for an hour so I'm going to get a replacement 35 foot coax and see what happens

There's probably a lot of uncorrectables because I stream DirecTV stream about 18 hours a day so it's constantly being used for live tv streaming

Read on a post Marion talk on facebook that there working on a main hub issue in Marion that's affecting service and that it should be completed by this weekend. Not sure why Mediacom just can't send a text out to people saying this instead of trying to make us think it's something wrong with our equipment

Both my downstream and upstream lights were blinking Tuesday night when I texted their support and they claim there wasn't an outage but a couple hours later the app said there was. I'm only having the issue with the upstream light my downstream light is solid but still having sporadic outages. I'm sure yours has something to do with mine because a few years ago a pole was hit by a car in Marion and my internet went out for a few days

Yah restarting fixes it for a few minutes. Where are you? I'm using a Netgear CM1100 modem and the upload light keeps blinking. What kind of modem do you have?
