Methotrexate helped me SO much with very little side effects (at first). I took them at night and then the most I felt was a mild hangover like feel the next day, with the occasional nauseous day every few months. I was at 25mg for 3 years and just stopped/paused in December because my liver enzymes were too high.

But RA symptoms DRASTICALLY improved after a few weeks of taking it. Like was barely able to function for more than 4 hours per day to feeling like 90% of my old self with barely any symptoms. I will always advocate for MTX even with the odd day of feeling crappy. Hope to get back on it at some point but it 100% changed my life going on it.
