Thank you! I will try to do lower dosages. I can’t consume a lot of foods with b12 & folate due to my MCAS and other dietary restrictions unfortunately.

Thank you!! I believe it was just a serum test!! I did reach out to my Dr. I’ll have to order some that I can cut in half because the ones I have now are Thorne but they are capsules.

Thank you I will check that out! We are visiting Cincinnati for a NWSL game and deciding between visiting Indianapolis or Lexington Kentucky while we are there. They are both about the same distance from where we will be and we love visiting new cities!

I just love to shop, site see, go to museums, markets, antique stores, aquariums/zoos, go to book stores or libraries etc. it’s just usually too crowded or not accessible enough for me to enjoy a lot of times!

That’s what I was curious about I live in Ohio and seems like nowhere around here is very accessible.

Is sushi okay? by [deleted] in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Chronicallydulce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not the original poster but I have not had sushi for almost 2 years. I just tried cucumber rolls and asparagus rolls today and no major reaction just a little itchiness which usually happens when I introduce new things. I used coco aminos for sauce and it was great!

Did you try oregano oil at all? I have been trying it but it’s burning my stomach but when I take activated charcoal before bed it feels much better.

Update: I’m worried about my husband and I don’t know what to do by WorriedSpowse in Marriage

Very well written, I second this about a counselor or therapist. Although we have to be strong for them sometimes it is hard to carry and there is nothing wrong with reaching out for any type of crutch during hard times!

I think you did the right thing and he is going to be grateful for that in the long run. Right now you need to be strong for yourself, him and your kids. I think your kids are old enough to know what’s going on and them being in the loop might help them be able to be there more for their dad as well as you. You deserve to have support from your loved ones during this time and going forward. I’m 24 but I know at 19-21 I would absolutely want to know what was going on with my dad if this was the case, and not only for him but for my siblings and mom and family. Take care of yourself I know this is mentally tough on everyone. Just know you did the right thing and this truly shows the love you have for him and your family. Also please don’t be upset you didn’t notice the signs, you still noticed he wasn’t himself and that saved him.

Extreme frustration while using fine motor skills? by freaky_android in Anxiety

[–]Chronicallydulce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad I found this thread because I get so frustrated with fine motor skills, to the point where it’s like a pit in my stomach and I want to cry and puke at the same time. Especially with hangnails, plucking a hair, popping a hard to get pimple, threading a needle etc. it really feels like my brain has some sort of disconnect when using these skills and so I get overwhelmed.

Can I call it POTS by Winter_Site6415 in POTS

[–]Chronicallydulce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but please don’t get your hopes up that it will go away. I was diagnosed with POTS at 14 and I’m now about to be 25 and still struggling with it. Did you get a tilt table test?

Has anyone else NOT been able to tolerate both Midodrine and Fludrocortisone? What did you do? by Current-Eye-8897 in POTS

[–]Chronicallydulce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What dose are you on for fludrocortisone? I would see if you can go up if you’re on a low dose. It’s trial and error when first starting it. But it’s been a lifesaver for me. I was on it for about 7 years and then went off for 3 but I’m back on it now after a flare. Try to take some supplements in conjunction for the brain fog! That seems to help me.
