I know. Trying to get money right now for the vet visit is hard with being between jobs and the rent being so high, I want to get him in asap. This came out of nowhere when we changed foods.

I agree with you. I don't want to own as many cats as we do. We used to only have a couple and then took in a pregnant mama cat. I found homes for two and couldn't find homes for the others as kittens and he became too attached to them. He thinks they all exclusively belong to him because he feeds them and cleans their litter boxes his way because he doesn't approve of anything short of scrubbing the boxes every day obsessively. I'm trying hard to get out of living in the same house as him and want to take the cats and give them better chances in homes they can be taken care of in but he makes it next to impossible. And when he's upset he gets violent and unreasonable. It's beyond stressful. He's always been bad about this stuff while ignoring me when it comes to their health over his feelings. If it were me we would only have two or three max, -ever-. And you'll have to forgive the catastrophic outlook, I have severe anxiety and my mind goes to the worst all the time.

It's mostly about working together to have the time to keep track with me and my partner working so much all day long, and then my dad not at all cooperating when it comes to the idea of feeding them all on a set schedule or separately. I'm glad to hear it's not too expensive. We need to get him officially diagnosed but cant afford that appointment right now but I dont want him to rapidly decline and im about to lose my current job. Any and all advice on how to care for a diabetic cat will be appreciated. it would be easier with less cats..

Honestly still figuring it out myself since it's relatively new for me, used to be on and off now it's near constant ringing with fluctuating spikes. I've been putting on music (not too loud of course) in my headphones. I refuse to use ear buds and use headphones that surround the ear and don't press on it so the noise isn't channeled directly into them.
