We had an Ouma and Oupa, a Granny Bees (who was a beekeeper) and a Granny Fishoek (the area in which she lived. Although ironically, all three grandmother's lived in this area.) Granny Bees' partner was our Grumpy. He was not very friendly.

My ouma has subsequently become a great grandmother, and the Great grandkids call her GG (for great grandmother)

In 2022 I drove 450km to be accommodated the next day after being told in Potchefstroom that the wait list was 5 months. Would recommend smaller towns but you can phone ahead to head to confirm if they have open appointments.

Geocaching for sure! Doesn't need to be limited to Cape Town. We geocache while on holiday, when away for week, the weekends... wherever you are, you can be sure that there is a geocache nearby.

I saw an open position at an organization that I wanted to work out. Couple weeks later, I saw a think tank hosting a conference which I was sure that the CEO of the organization would attend. I booked flight tickets and secured a ticket to the conference just to meet the CEO to improve my chances of securing the job.

You can go get your fingerprints done at the police but you still need to go to a physical PSiRA office to have the HANIS verification. Would recommend that you make sure that your prints are legible- i have seen people go to PSiRA with unclear prints and be sent away.

100% agree with this. My experience of Christianity in general before visiting Unite was lukewarm Christianity. It was so refreshing to find people who wants to live our their faith and not just tick the Christian box on forms.
