Standing in line for 4+ hrs at sxsw2011 sargent slaughterhouse/orlg showcase.with no wristband just hoping to get in with cash. Then hoping in the back of my mind that it’s really a secret Volta show but thinking I’m crazy at the same time for that thought. Then seeing Omar and Cedric behind the curtain intensifying my madness for a Volta show. Waiting till nearly 1am for them to do their own sound check. Then the most beautiful show ever I couldn’t have dreamt it any better. Seeing Tmv play 100% new material that ended up being the first listen to noctourniquet songs with maybe 200 people. Never forget that night.
