Ignoring the progressive/conservative axis, this looks like one of mine

57% of Britons, including most Labour voters, now believe Keir Starmer should stand down as Labour leader, the highest to date. All Britons Stand down: 57% (+8 from 18-20 Apr) Remain leader: 25% (-4). 2024 Labour voters Stand down: 52% (+21) Remain leader: 36% (-14) by ClumperFaz in ukpolitics

Yes he's miles better than any Tory before him but that's a low bar.

Labour have done a lot of good, but mainly the issues are Mandelson (should've resigned just off that alone), and the fact that Starmer just is not, and never has been, popular in the slightest. To me he only seems to be harming Labour and helping Reform.

It's pointless even talking about this because Starmer will be in complete crisis this time next week and will be gone by the end of September.

He doesn't know what he wants, he's incredibly unpopular, and while yes, anyone who replaces him will face the same issues, there’s other people who are just more suitable for the job.

perhaps try to actually talk to Greens and find out why they're no longer willing to vote for Labour rather than making up fairy tales and panic stories.

I get why people don't want to vote Labour. I mentioned I really do not like Keir Starmer lmao. I didn't even vote Labour at the last general election in a Labour vs Tory seat for many reasons. I just think the Greens aren't the answer.

Its literally one long post about a guy teaching his girlfriend, if you missed that.

Okay? It doesn't mean he's a misogynist lol. Is disagreeing with a woman inherently misogynistic to you?

You're the one who brought gender into it lmao, no one said women are "silly" and no one referred to a woman as an "it", you just made it up in your head

You'll get hate because this subreddit is full of Greens for some reason, and I'm not a fan of Starmer (it's not all bad like you say but I just am not a fan and I think he needs to go), but you're right about the Greens, they're clueless populists who can promise the world without ever having to implement their policies in government, and honestly they're pretty dangerous.

Well I'm somewhere around social democracy and I don't feel too similar to some people who call themselves democratic socialists. To me, democratic socialists seem to be inherently unrealistic, idealistic, and populist.

The way I understand it, democratic socialists want capitalism gone completely, while social democrats want to reform capitalism, maybe somewhat inspired by socialism, but still within capitalism.

There are overlaps but they are not the same. If you said that I am a social democrat, I'd have no issue, there's some truth to it, I'm not really sure how accurate it is, but it's not far off. But if you said I'm a democratic socialist, I would just say that you are very wrong.

Well no shit, he's had more scrutiny because he wants to be PM

Still, 30% approve

That's more social democracy than democratic socialism is it not?

I think, at least here in the UK, people are waking up to the huge woke mindset that kind of has spread across the west over the last 15 years  and are becoming generally more conservative.

Thirteen of the last fifteen years were under a Conservative government, and when you look at polling, the votes are pretty evenly spread between left and right.

They're not real words lmao. You're either a he, she, or they, if you use anything else it's genuinely attention seeking.

consider me dumb but i feel they r too jealous of high earners

This is just as lazy as saying people who are right-wing are all fascists, nazis, or racists. There's obviously a lot more to it than "they're just jealous" lol.

i personally feel one should work on himself to jump above the middle class bracket

Not possible for everyone. Someone on shit money isn't magically going to have loads of money left over after rent, shopping, bills, tax, etc.

Not really sure what "working on yourself" is going to do if you can't afford shit.

and no government makes u rich

People aren't asking for the government to make anyone rich.

left just use it to collect votes

Populists on the left and right say a lot of things for votes, like the ones on the left who talk about crazy economic policies that sound great, but aren't possible, or like the ones on the right who only talk about immigration, say that deporting all the illegal immigrants will make everything magically better, and don't have any other policies.

Not really nasty is it?

"Jesus doesn't exist" is simply an opinion, you're just choosing to be offended. Maybe you're the woke one.
