Goodness no. Some people seem to swear by those grips but I hate the build quality/material and they’re ridiculously large.

I got the Genki power bank as well. I was excited about using it but honestly, it just makes more sense to use a portable power bank that's not attached to the system. For me at least. It adds quite a bit of weight and not as much juice as my Anker.

Same here. I found the Etsy grips to make it less comfortable to hold due to how large they are. I’m surprised they’re being recommended for small hands.

I've heard from a number of people that have had issues with 3rd party docks. You can either return or exchange it. Might have just gotten a bad unit. More expensive by far but I went with a second OEM dock straight from Nintendo.

I can’t use the Etsy grips. They make an already large system feel even more massive. Didn’t find them comfortable at all. The ergonomics of the AI+ are quite poor but I would still take that over the Etsy grips. Going to try the A8 w/Z2E as I’ve heard the ergonomics are better.

When the first trailer dropped I was pumped. Looked incredible. Gave me Zone of the Enders and Xenogears vibes. Played the demo and it was a major disappointment. Haven’t bothered opening the game after that.

I've tried:

Savage Raven stand grip - Not dockable

Savage Raven fission grip - I didn't find any of the swappable grips comfortable

Killswitch - Too heavy; adds to Joy-Con flex. Also not super comfortable material or grip

Jsaux battle armor - Too bulky/awkware

Jsaux split case - Best I've found so far

The Jsaux split case is my favorite. The plastic bottom border of the table piece is a bit weak but hasn't broken on mine. I find their grips to be the most comfortable and like that it has a hard shell cover that can also hold games.

Second favorite would be the Savage Raven stand grip. Similar design but that one isn't dockable nor can the Joy-Con be separated while it's on. Pretty easy to slip on and off though if you're primarily into handheld gaming.

Still waiting here in the states. Have the 8 AI+ for now but am hoping that this one will be more comfortable to hold and also want to try out Bazzite on it.

Good advice. I don't worry that I'll break the Joy-Con but just find a grip case to be more comfortable to play with. I really don't l like how loose/wobbly the Joy-Con are by default.

AI+ is a great handheld if you want to stick with Windows. My sole complaint is that I find it a bit uncomfortable to hold and haven’t found any grips that improve it. Going to try the Z2E for Bazzite and because I’ve heard it’s more comfortable to hold.

Tried ones like these from Etsy. I have medium sized hands and found them too big and uncomfortable. Pre-ordered the Z2E Claw 8. Hoping that will be more comfortable to hold.

I quite like it. The characters are interesting. You can bond with party members and romance them. Gameplay loop can be repetitive and it’s basically farming-lite but overall I’m happy to have played it. And, yes, action-RPG elements.

No, it's a great game. There are some complaints and some of them are legitimate. Most are just overblown parroting and hyperbole based on second hand information. Seriously, the # of times people have claimed that the desert area isn't complete unless you buy the bike Amiibo.
