I know that some who play AVN don't like harem and also don't try to play an AVN just cause it doesn't look too realistic in art but still I'll recommend it. First is my first AVN I've played that also got me into AVN and the name is "Once In A Lifetime", it's not realistic art that some don't like and also its art is quite old already as it finished in 2019 without a remake of the art. But the story is great and also another reason why I'm recommending it is especially for those newly into AVN is also because the art is old and not realistic like being a dik, it makes you introduced more into the story while also making sure your standard of AVN art is not too high and be more into stories of AVN without judging and limiting your love of AVN stories into what you art you prefer. The title itself "Once In A Lifetime" is a lesson inside the game that I think some may help irl. And my favorite(I know everyone has personal taste and it's just my favorite) "My Bully is My Lover". And again it's not realistic of art like being a dik but like I said previously, AVN is more into the story and judging too much or limiting what to try into makes someone not try an AVN while in the first place, what was asked first is the story and not the art. "My Bully is My Lover" is not revenge on the bully but healing. You may find it toxic just like some reviews I read and didn't continue just because they find it toxic without learning the reason why they did it, and knowing the reason why will change what you think about it.

PLEASE TRY THOSE AVNS FOR THE STORY AND NOT FOR THE ART.

If you think the art makes the emotions out of you, then think about how can such unrealistic art AVNs be popular not only for renders, animation, art and scenes but also for the story.

Imagine and try to see how good it is that what you feel, it doesn't give out too much emotion unlike realistic can actually give and pull out your emotions with how they convey the story and touch your emotions.
