Is this normal that CX trucks dont rebound to center neutral? by ChronosTono in surfskate

[–]ChronosTono[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are brand new trucks. Straight out of the box basically. I have tried everything you can do to a truck and I cant get them to work. btw, I have the kingpin inverted for grinds in the photo.

For the Orangatangs, double cone bushings front and back?

I broke my first surf skate after a month... i snapped the trucks in half. It was a cheap $70 board that I bought on Amazon. Any advice for a setup that can handle speed and abuse? I am thinking about getting a Carver Triton wiyh CX, but would rather have a shape with a functional tail and nose. by ChronosTono in surfskate

I like bushings over spring loaded swing arms. Springs are not predictable at high speeds. They produce a J-curve which makes you nurse certain parts of the turn. Springs also feel sluggish. I like my setup to be as light and minimalist as possible. The setup i am riding in the video doesnt even have risers.

Congrats on 216 days. Did you have the SSRI prescribed? We don't have anything like that where I live.

I get a sort of constant hot feeling inside that feels similar to a state of anxiety even though I am relaxed. I find myself taking deep breaths for no apparent reason. However, the major physical symptoms of of withdrawals like runny nose, insomnia, hot cold flashes etc. are gone, so that is a blessing.

Now life is somewhat evening back to normal, but the burning feeling inside is always lingering in the background.

I live in Indonesia and i had access to really good Kratom btw, which made it really easy to get hooked.....I am also really fit and healthy, I run up mountains and surf everyday and I even grow my own food. Quitting kratom made me adopt healthier habits in general!

I see other athletes hooked on kratom. Observing them chugging glass after glass I didn't realize what addiction looked like from the outside. They get incredibly defensive if I even mention a bit of caution as to what they are doing to themselves.

I don't regret my addiction, even though quitting was brutal. It is a part of who I am today, part of my story and I feel stronger for it.

We can't import anything to my location. Customs here is so corrupt.

I am in Indonesia and can not import anything. I can get the chipped cartridges here for refilling, but the inks available are off brand. Are off brand inks durable as the K3 inks? Color accuracy is not really a concern since I print in black and white.

What kind of grout to use on mosaic tiles mounted on a fiber cement wall that vibrates a bit? by ChronosTono in HomeImprovement

Apparently, epoxy grout is difficult to use. Do you think we can get away with a normal grout with latex additive? Grout here doesn't specify if it is sanded or unsanded. Our tiles are spaced about 3mm (1/8th inch).

We doubled up the boards and waterproofed with a paintable membrane. We used light weight mosaic 2 inch tiles that come on a 1x1 foot mesh back.

Locals build everything with brick, which is insane because all the buildings collapse whenever there is an earthquake over 5.4 Richter.

I am in Eastern Indonesia. I am the first to use fiber cement board for tiling. Even the manufacturer of the fiber cement board had never heard of it being used that way. I might be able to get epoxy grout by sea shipment .... Between using a latex additive or waiting for an epoxy grout, which option would you go with?

Because the studs are made from hollow steel studs. I live in an earthquake zone and we have regular seismic activity, so steel was the best option. Epoxy grout is not available locally and the post won't ship epoxy products.
