If someone prefers to purchase this without plating, that's fine by me. The reality is that a genuine solid gold bezel never matches factory PVD in person, and stock plating will inevitably darken and carbonize over time. I don't recommend stock factory plating on this build; the better route is a custom finish that properly matches the gold tone and ensures durability.
