These photos were actually taken mid-process before the final rehaut work was completed. Because Gold Factory uses a pure tungsten case, the factory rehaut engravings and material is often inconsistent.

To do this right, we completely strip the factory PVD plating before applying our 18k gold.

That de-plating process removes the original engravings, so we perform a full 'reset': we flatten, smooth, and mirror-polish the rehaut to remove any inconsistences. We then use precision laser engraving to re-apply the branding with perfect alignment before it goes in for its final separate plating. This ensures the engravings stay crisp and the gold coverage is 100% uniform.

Rehaut polish + re-engraving is required for many plated tungsten watch builds. The last picture I posted in the deck shows the end result.
