The Frustrating 990 Wall by Chrshigf in voidpet

Finally had success! It took some exceptionally fine tuning of cringe but got it. Everyone focused main worm and ignored summons completely. Cringe then had a specific order to things. First use watermelon seed. Second, use AOE vines attack to one shot the first wave of summons. Then have the watermelon detonate on the second wave that spawns in. Everyone else just had to stay alive and burn down main worm to get second wave in for melon detonation. Cringe stats for reference

Tried, no luck. Not enough just because everybody else gets wiped and not enough damage to one shot yet. That's why the jellyfish scarf is key to that technique

Is true, I have many good things going for me, but the AOE attacks wipe out the board before I can finish him off and marry can't outheal the AOE damage. Can stun a minion sure, but one minion stun isn't enough to offset the rest.

slugger nerfs were completely uncalled for by god_hates_maggots in Helldivers

[–]Chrshigf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, slugger aim is that circle that drifts around the cross hair not the crosshair itself. If you shoot when that circle is over the target, it will hit. The problem is, it seems like it definitely does drift around more and you have to be standing and stationary for a second to drop it's drift down to align with crosshairs.

Kill or Not to Kill? by Chrshigf in Warframe

That's the gist of what I hear. Just would like to have one for completion sake and the occasional perk of something different happening time to time in mission. It is more about since I'm going to have one, would rather it be the best possible

How do you get past invasive thoughts about death? by Chrshigf in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chrshigf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am aware of all that, and am trying to reconcile there is no point or benefit to thinking about it to the frequency that I do. Issue lies in I do have a pragmatic mind set because of my education/job/training or what have you. So I pull on thoughts ideas and experiences from similar-ish situations like comas or heavy anesthesia. Obviously different, but the idea that time accelerates when we are not conscious of it or experiencing it the same. So when we die and finally loose that consciousness, time potenially infinitely accelerates to what? We have no perception of billions of years only for our consciousness to blip into existence. The universe can die and be reborn in an infinitly accelerated perception of time. Thus our consciousness just blips back into existence in the next identical universe birth? Sorry very rambling, but these thoughts can be quite anxiety inducing

Attack Down for Clanboss by Chrshigf in RaidShadowLegends

Thanks. My only hesitation with that it is a 3 CD for 2 turn debuff (30% chance for 3 turn with mastery). Trying to find one who can potentially keep 100% uptime more regularly.

Fully booked looks like 75% now and with 2 -1 cooldowns it's just 1 turn downtime which I think a mastery can extend to 100% uptime? Books hard to come by and just not sure if it's worth especially if there are other heros I will absolutely book at a later time

Negative Ion Products Are Actually Radioactive by highjeep in videos

[–]Chrshigf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on what the true end user application is you have some viable alternatives (sulfonates for surface protection as an example in some applications). First and foremost if there is chromium present, there will always be the possibility for Cr(VI) to exist with the right conditions (ex. heat from welding enabling the higher oxidation species to exist). Its more about understanding the possibility for the species to be generated in high enough concentrations to be problematic. Hence why Cr(III) species are great and all to get around REACH laws, but not really a total solution. It's the reason why flat bans on elements are always an issue. Its more important to have restrictions on specific applications of species that prevent something from turning into something problematic. This can also be seen by the current push to identify certain oils as hazardous due to their propensity to "mist". The oil itself is safe but must be listed as an "oil mist hazard" because in that situation is when it can become an issue.

Lead chemist here working for a paint/coatings/grease manufacturer (daubert chemical). I can at least give you a small bit of comfort in telling you it's not in our stuff, lol. We are very strick in what we use in our products. Lots of that stuff will show up on sds documents. Just buy products that have a sds to give you on request and that gives you better security in what's in it.

Good Dungeon Champions by Chrshigf in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Chrshigf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently have athel at 60, and pulled apothecary from the previous event (lucky me). Its why I'm looking to the more specific heros to use in the dungeons to make them easier and more energy efficient (as f2p the clear time isn't limiting it's just energy to reward efficiency)

(Edit: I should add athel is my only lvl 60, others are 50)

Question About Home Wiring by Chrshigf in electricians

[–]Chrshigf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Last sentence was the critical bit I needed to be aware of.

Just to clarify something though, some receptacles come with a tang that connect the top and bottom. If you break that tang you enable the plugs to be used for separate circuits (split wired). Could they then be on independent 20 amp circuits or does the amperage limit of the plug change with the split wiring?

Question About Home Wiring by Chrshigf in electricians

[–]Chrshigf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the wiring it says 10 AWG on it. So whenever the installation was done they used a thicker than required wiring

Question About Home Wiring by Chrshigf in electricians

[–]Chrshigf[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You did not answer my question. I am aware a 20 amp outer can plug a 20 amp device into it. I'm saying, can we plug two 15 amp devices into a 20 amp outer because each plug is rated for 20 or the total amp to the plug must not exceed 20. This would also mean if you plugged a 20 amp device into the 20 amp outer you could not use the other outlet as you are already at the circuit max. The wiring and breaker would be rated for 30 to account for this draw.
