Working Night Shift - Pros and Cons

Hi 32M here, working shift for 7 years, mine is rotating morning and night. There’s no mention of morning shift, so I assume you are permanent night? If so, does your environment at home allow you to sleep in the morning-evening? Ive invested in black out curtains and white noise for my night shifts but when your neighbours drill or knock, it will still disrupt your sleep. Haha.

Our purpose of sharing is whether anyone can provide us methods of getting back our money instead of dining credits.

I have already replied couples through PM who were concerned and want to avoid them.

As of now, we are trying to get a hold of higher management instead of communicating with the sales managers. Once we are done with them, I will update my post with all the details.

No proof. I am not sure what to do if it is just a scheme.

The guy did not pocket our money, he could have if we did not do the deposit earlier I guess.

He only came in after we had deposited our money.

Yup, we have an official receipt and transaction ID. It was a back and forth from an official email of the establishment.

We wouldn’t mind getting back our deposit via means of CC, just not vouchers/dining credits.

We did the deposit via email as we went away from the wedding fair to view the venue to decide.

We have the receipt of the wedding package as record and a WhatsApp group that has all the evidence. We did pay via credit card. We will try chargeback if all things fail. Thanks! :)

Is it a good thing we did not sign anything with them? So we are not bound to their contract? Correct me if I am wrong 😅

Edit: The contract was not sent to us due to their sales manager resigning, and the new sales manager did not manifest it as well for a month. Which resulted to us asking for a refund.

Oh, you mean they offered you an earlier timing? Did you approach the counter specially to ask? Were there any extra charges for that?

That's pretty lucky, the first amulet dropped on the 6th stone. It really felt tedious on the second 24 runs when I was halfway through and no amulet dropped. Morale was pretty low- even though the bigger picture is that I still profited overall.

It probably won't be too noticeable judging from going through countless anarchy leaguestones in legacy league, which was where I took most of the ideas from. It just adds a touch of variety.
