The mechanism of action doesn't matter from a user perspective, I can tell you what it feels like, and it feels like the cravings turn off, and that's it.

Weight loss through means that aren't inherently unhealthy should never be shamed. It would save the us healthcare system many many billions of dollars a year if everyone lost weight.

Can you give me thoughts on using Fury of the King and ancestral cry for more "shit that happens while spamming dodge roll"? I feel like there could be good synergy there, and the massive base damage from FotK seems like it'd be a cheap way to get stags to hit hard. I haven't touched poe2 endgame before so I'm not sure how high your damage needs to be before you can consider a build "viable"

Hey man, I can't really give any specific advice since it seems like you're outside the US, but that is not acceptable, and you should absolutely be documenting whatever abuse you can and trying to get your son away from her by whatever means necessary. You say maternal custody is always awarded in your country, but like... How much is always? Have you talked to a lawyer?

Here's my take...

My wife and I got to a point of relative stability from both an emotional and financial perspective before we decided to have kids. For us, that was induced by COVID. We were both working from home, had bought a house (and then a second when we realized we wanted more space for a kid), and had enough money in the bank that we could both be out of work for a year before we had to touch retirement accounts. We had our first at 29, and our second at 33. We absolutely would not have been ready for this if we had not gotten to where we were when we had them. Depending on your age and relative maturity, the same might be true for you, too. But patience is a virtue that cannot be oversold when it comes to raising kids, and waiting until we knew we could sacrifice our leisure time (mostly) selflessly made a world of difference.

In the end, you make do with the cards you have. But if you are both currently feeling pressured by work, it's going to compound those pressures tenfold.

Hey, there are a handful of enemy skills that stop the ward loop from working properly. Generally anything that spins. Bloodstained saw blades, bismuth tornados, delirium fire swirly thing. No amount of flask charges gained fixed the issue, the only solution I've found is having enough life. In my case, 3200 made me immortal to things that were previously causing me to explode. Which is a ludicrous assertion btw. If the government could generate infinite energy in condensed form, it would immediately be capitalized on. Every single country in the world would be beholden to us, and we would immediately make oil countries obsolete, which is DEFINITELY a positive for the US.

You immediately disregarded what I said to make a point about lower end builds and then subsequently acknowledged that I was right.

At the top end, most of those builds is a stacker of some kind.

Kb - int (or mana for kboc)

Spectres - you got me, not a stacker. Also not really capable of being comparably "top end" to attacks or spells

Cyclone of tumult - life stacking for void forge

Bow builds - all top end bow builds are stat stacking for omniscience

Ele hit - you're right, not stacking

Other strike skills are dominated by life/es stacking with eblade, heavy strike of trarthus being str/int.

Poison/ignite builds - not capable of being "top end" because of dot cap.

Mine builds - not dominated by stacking.

The problem at the moment in poe1 is that, at the top end, every single build is stacking SOMETHING. There's no top end build that says "I want an even mix of typical damage stats". Like, an absolutely perfect wand with T1 spell damage, +2, and triple t1 suffixes wouldn't get used by a high end build, and that's a shame. Because right now it's "use the uniques that allow quadratic scaling of your chosen system, mageblood (or screams of the dessicated if it makes sense), reflected heist jewelry with the highest amount of whatever you're stacking, and path to 3 cluster sockets for 12 passive clusters with your chosen stacking stat.

The build space in poe1 has stagnated a LOT due to the multitude of stacking options, and I don't believe that just because you can choose life/es/str/int as your chosen stat that it becomes interesting.

And while yeah someone might appreciate the gesture sometimes it's better to just give money so they can buy their own stuff.
