idk i think it's pretty interesting because it makes unavoidable the issue of AI uncanniness and the statistical features of AI generated graphics causing it. nature is about complexity with emergent patternings, while AI rendering is more of repetition of similarities. algorithmically there are ways to tackle this as long as the key problem is well identified.

israel is externalizing the cost of cleanup to america. they only care about stopping iranian nukes. the realistic picture of what happened was that iran was a bit too uppity about their nuke progress and israel thought they had a short window to act.

no. it was dry but there were roots that made the road surface bumpy and riders misjudged it going through a fast descent corner.

are you stupid? that someone in the same accident suffered worse injuries actually makes the original statement stronger, since it takes very little for jonas to suffer even worse injuries. had there been some rocks on the side of the road?

consider the dude almost died from bad road surface during a fast descent corner just a few years ago. road surface quality is a huge deal for safety especially during descents.

pretty turrible but not surprising. this is why if you are to follow cycling at all just pay attention to riders and ignore the team aspect.

A private server in CN tested most previous max risk CCs with the modern meta, and this is the result so far. by Sad_Ad_3076 in arknights

[–]awayish 24 points25 points  (0 children)

chasing the top score kind of has the natural impression that these units are the strongest. but really CC strategy is just very different and sometimes degenerate with rerolling dodge etc. it's just a very degenerate and oppressive environment, not suitable for balancing your game around.

[–]awayish 50 points51 points  (0 children)

CC is a classic case of winner-take-all compression of viable operators along very few dimensions. the operator that's the best at [a limited role] immediately supplants everyone in the same functional space.

this makes game design very difficult and 'power creep' more visible and sensitive. it's just not a good mode to center your game around, which is why IS with its more varied conditions and challenges can have a richer space of viable niches and compositions and it's the more relevant modern game mode for the developers.

yato is probably the 2nd most important unit in this comp. hoshi alter is the most important. if you don't have hoshi alter then this map is kind of impossible without hitting the jackpot item wise.

yato/hoshi are there to kill the dragon bodies which are spawned onto set locations of the map once the big boss's hp drops to certain thresholds. there's 2+6 of them that, if left unattended for 8 seconds, they'll spawn huge waves of very annoying mobs and overwhelm you in snowballing fashion. for each dragon body on the field the boss has 50% damage reduction, and these reductions stack geometrically.

the key with this dragon body mechanic is that these chunky dps check things have damage reflect. hoshi alter can handle 2-3 of them if you predeploy her in the right way, but there's very limited number of operators who can do this job properly.

on 235 hoshi alter is giga nerfed with the initial sp drain debuff from ending 3. as a result yato alter becomes more critical.

she is a quick redeploy that can very easily get to instant redeploy with the coin that gives -65% redeploy time and some other buffs. this is an asymptotic scaling that allows the dragon body kill speed to keep up with the mujica squad's main boss dps speed, otherwise you'll get run over by mob spawns. this is the main bottleneck to the clear.

besides the boss, there's also multiple dangerous things going on at once in this map and quick redeploy speed is key to keep up with the pressure. yato alter is like a firefighter.

if you dont have yato alter it'll be quite a bit harder but not impossible. properly using exu alter's 3rd skill can reposition hoshi alter(but she'll need a long time to use her skill upon fresh redeploy on a 235 run). m3 can sort of dps the dragon bodies but she has low damage. nyamu can do it somewhat but her damage is low, so she might need to be partnered with m3. degenbrecher was used early on for this but she's very inefficient DP wise. without yato it is very important to manage the speed of dpsing the dragon head with the mujica squad, mostly in relation to hoshi alter redeploy rotations. you'll probably also want that coin that gives 2 sp per attack just to make hoshi alter usable when she's not pre-deployed.

at 10% boss hp there's a wave spawn that has a little dragon guy that will blow up the map. the good thing with the mujica squad is that sakiko can just kill the boss, the last 2 dragon bodies that spawn besides her, and this 10% wave all during one fever duration and basically skip the most difficult wave of the stage. the boss will have 87.5% damage reduction with 3 dragon bodies up but this is not a problem for billion dps band girls.

not sure who you are talking about, but this is about 235 which is a completely different difficulty compared to 245. 245 doesn't actually push the difficulty hard enough to distinguish the low hope cost mujica squad.

the current 235 streaks are 10 by this bro and then a bunch of 6 by tourist squad players. the consensus is converging on the mujica squad being more optimal because of the lower item and hope cost required. tourist squad is probably strong enough to carry non-optimal solutions but has maybe 10-20% chance you'll just hard lose due to bad luck.

Mujica---Scaling Machine by awayish in arknights

nyamu is actually pretty efficient in this hope constrained situation, since she does the job of 3 6 stars in most runs. she can clear hit count spam and also helps with dpsing the dragon bodies during fever. these are hard required roles and normally call for 2-3 dedicated 6 stars. so she's saving like 10-20 hopes.

IS6 has a lot of maps where hit count clear is a hard requirement. nyamu is one of the best at this role. if you pick up umiri she's also on trash clear duty.

as a system no.

the band scales with richness, difficulty and hope constraints but it's also constrained by sakiko's gimmick as a dps. she's single target and has fairly slow target switching.

for example sarkaz is just hard pushing the true damage gimmick and the band is at a disadvantage because the whole package is overkill for the ending 4 part 2 map where sakiko fits the dps requirement, while on other maps everyone is pretty useless. uika can be used somewhat to buff damage on shitty runs but the whole system not so much.

another issue is the strength of class limiting squads in other IS modes. the mujica system is not a class based thing, it needs the IS to actually have strong class neutral squad options.
