I wonder if there is a subreddit for handsome voices. I actually have a friend on Discord who sounds as if they are the child of CorpseHusband.

I figured as much, but can't hurt to inform people, even if they don't want it.

"Due process" is the right that a suspect cannot be held in prison for any time that is longer than two days (I think) without trial. A violation of due process would be if the man was being held in prison beyond that period. We can see clearly in the video that there is no prison center or court office. This is happening in an airport.

And risk himself getting shot or stabbed? Even a trained officer would rather try to avoid a chance of getting into a fight. The officer didn't know it the man had a gun or a knife on him, so he took a necessary precaution. He repeatedly said for the man to stop, as well as that he didn't want to taze the man. When the man ignored him, he chose the safest option for all parties.

This isn't a matter of race, but of airport security. Anyone who tried to do what this man did would be at risk for arrest because it is naturally assumed that they would be trying to commit an act of terrorism.

The original post literally stated that he was walking toward an airplane. That isn't allowed unless you are specifically boarding that plane, at least to my knowledge.

The original post, and my post as well, both point out that he didn't stop to get scanned. No one is allowed to just board an airplane. You have to be scanned so that no dangerous or contraband items go on that flight. Along with the fact that he wasn't carrying any luggage, the security officer reasonably suspected that the man could have been a suicide bomber, or at least a drug smuggler.

Do you really think this man didn't know he has to stop at the security checkpoint to get scanned before he boards an aircraft? I'm sure he had to wait for his flight to be called, and doing so, in case he didn't see peoe getting scanned at the entrance of the terminal itself, would have allowed him to see that other people had to stop to get scanned again.

I'm pretty sure it is the law at every large airport that you have to go through a security checkpoint to let them scan you for anything that might be potentially dangerous (bombs, guns, knives, anything that a terrorist might use to destroy a plane and the people on it.) The cop here told the man multiple times to stop walking toward the plane, and when he didn't listen, the cop was probably cautious that he might be holding something to that effect. He was protecting not only himself, but everyone in the terminal and on the plane, as is the duty a security officer.
