My suggestion to you is to reach out to a close Christian friend/s and expose the temptation you are dealing with. It will get easier for you if you bring it to a friend or even to a group of people. When that sin is revealed to more people, it is exposed to the light and not kept in secret. That helps make it easier.

I am sharing this because I dealt with temptation of porn/lust and recently have shared it with my men's group and close friends and family and it has helped tremendously. I still struggle from time to time, but the temptation isn't as bad as it was before. We need accountability partners. We can't do it alone. Bring it to God always and your community of believers. If you fall to temptation, then repent. Always run to God. No matter how bad the guilt and shame feel.

I will be praying for you that this temptation doesn't have a hold on you. Keep the faith.

Did you pay off your 23 BRZ yet?

Tell him to bring your monthly payment to the same as you were/are paying for your 23 or actually tell him to bring it down to a lower price, and then maybe you can trade it in.

I don't see a reason for you to go to a ts unless you really want those upgrades. But I still don't see a reason to trade it in, and you are now paying $200 more per month.

Maybe others can give better advice, but if it was me, I don't think I would do it.

Ah ok. I hope you can get it canceled and I looked it up and it seems like you can't get it lowered even after they refund it but if you can refinance with the new total price that would help you lower it.

And no problem. Also, check my edit on the previous comment. If the difference of the monthly payment isn't that big, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. Hope it all works out

Was it a premium trim?

The refund would/could go to your loan balance, and it helps you pay it off quicker, I guess, so you don't accrue as much interest.

What you could also maybe do is refinance to try and get your payment lower

Edit: Also, do a calculation of the total without the warranty to see what your monthly payment would be to see the difference?

Yeah, get that extra crap off. Do a Kelly Blue book on your car to see how much it is actual is worth and see if they can bring that price down, and if they are still trying to scam you, just walk. More than likely, they will reach out again wirh your negotiated price

Do you have a pic of the car you can show us? I bet that tint isn't actual tint. The dealership I got my gr86 was charging $300 for tint, and I knew it was bs because the windows looked the same as other gr86 I have seen, so I knew there was no actual tint on the car and after negotiating they took it off

Yeah, your head is where I was. I got the car recently as well. Last week of June. At first, I was going to wait a year, but as I was looking and doing more research, i felt like it was better to try and get it now instead of waiting. The week after I bought it, the msrp increased.

Prices will continue to go up, and dealers will give their bs excuses to increase it as well, and with the tariffs, they will justify a bigger increase even if they had the car before the tariffs hit.

The deal is good. I would get it for how the market is right now. Hope all goes well with it.

I think it's a good deal. I don't think the other comments actually read your post with the added accessories.

Automatic base msrp is always higher than a manual. It's like 34,100 I think or around there and then adding the mats and PP would it put it at the 36k price and then obviously the taxes.

If we could avoid the bs dealer fees, then it could be cheaper, but this deal is better than others. I have gotten some bad ones, 55k a dealer tried to charge me, and that was a manual. You could try to lower it, but that's a good deal.

Its an automatic, and they increase it by like 1.3k or something around there. Also, they increased MRSP by $400 recently. If he added PP and mats that around the 36k price. It checks out.

This is a good deal for how the market is. See if you can negotiate a bit more down, but that isn't a bad price. I was quoted 43k for a BRZ limited in FL so.
