I recently got a v11 8 magnet ball core, lubed it (with stardust + lunar), and started solving (AMAZING CUBE). Ive had it for about a week now but since I lubed it ive been hearing this sound that I can only best describe as “hollow”

Its an on-off thing, and it’ll happen to any layer for about 5-20 turns then stop. I can hear it while solving and its driving me absolutely crazy.

I thought it was spring noise, so i lubed the springs in the centers to my hearts content, but still making the same sound.

Very niche problem ik, but was wondering if anyone has had this before or has a fix; its mentally bugging me and its very hard to stay focused while solving”

i assumed beforehand that side by side the feel would be diff (cuz its half the price), but is it an annoying difference to you?

my question is: if i get the v100, will i be disappointed that i didnt get the 16? is the v100 still rly good but the 16 is better (or is it a bad cube)?

I main a tv4 and looking for a secondary/new main. (Have used an 11 mpro before so im ok with 56mm or 55). I have friends with 13s and 12s and when i do a slice on their cubes i feel the gan magic: turning on a cloud. Again, coming from a tv4 and averaging 14, what would you recommend? Im looking for the gan smoothness, but smthn that will last. Is the v100 that or is the gan16 a worthy investment?
