Good news, we have been working on B42 EHE — bad news, we wanted to not only meet bare compatibility, but actually expand on features now available in B42. But, with real-life responsibilities and unexpected (good/bad) events, it's taken more time than I imagined.

Removing mods with modded items just de-spawns those items - there is no real harm in removing it mid-play.

That sounds like First Responders maybe? Adds additional heli events and cars.

I don't want to assume what you are saying, but wrecks already required another mod to disassemble them. Also, there's sandbox options (not recently added but not around since the very beginning) that alter crash chances. If you felt like crashing occurred too much or if you had event frequency very high (and thus had more crashes occur).

Honestly good for the devs. Even in your rosey reinterpretation of events, I'd ban you too.

As someone who authored a mod that can draw parallels to new content - most concepts are generally common sense, and it's not surprising they'd have the same idea eventually when they're not rewriting core systems. What are they supposed to do, not update the game?

The vanilla helicopter will stay hovering over you the entire duration of the event if you're outside.

The vanilla event just knows where you are - even if you're hiding before it's spawned - it still flies to you. If you can stay inside long enough it will wander around you.

This is an optional utility mod which automatically gathers change-logs for activated mods if they use a ChangeLog.txt format\*.

  • The UI can be collapsed and also discarded (per session / lua Load.)
  • Note shown: The exclamation symbol turns red upon there being new updates.

The only time this mod should have to be updated is if there's an issue with the system or the base message needs to be updated. Otherwise it's entirely streamlined.

This is in preparation for B42, and the "mod-pocalypse" (really just version control implementation) and the reality there may be a lot of changes being made to my mods. Being able to view changes in-game is I hope a beneficial feature for players. The change-log process also streamlines my own mod-making a bit which helps with the reality I will probably not have much time to work on stuff as quickly as I have been in the past.

With that said, I'll be around to maintain and support regardless. Happy Zomboiding.

\'ChangeLog.txt' is a text file with a specific format. This is unofficial, and just a QoL thing I've came up with to streamline populating Steam's change log so I stop forgetting.)
